Vata looked over the ruins, trying not to remember the gruesome things he saw while stuck in there. At least this time he was dressed for the weather. The winter garments of this world were incredible, made of materials lighter and more insulating than anything conceivable in the world he was from. He would need to ask what this "polyester" stuff was sometime, since it seemed to be listed on the tags of many of the garments provided to them. Then Charles started talking to the group, joking a bit, and commenting on the way the ruins looked now. After taking a quick look through the binoculars, and fumbling slightly with the controls, he agreed with Charles' assessment of the ruins. He couldn't see any signs of recent activity, and the ruins just seemed like ordinary ruins now. Despite the uneasiness he felt, there was a sort of beauty to the scene in front of the group, with the pristine now and the silence provided from the snow that covered everything around them. Handing the binoculars back to Charles, Vata sighed. Despite the beauty of the place, it was marred by the memory of lives lost from a gruesome ritual of some unknown purpose. Unfortunately, it also seemed to be the only potential source of information regarding the bizarre event that brought them here. "Even if nothing has been here recently, I don't like the feel of this place. Hopefully it won't take too long for us to find something useful here, I don't think we should stay here any longer than we need to."
