Since attractiveness in some cases is relative (I mainly play my characters as being androgynous males), I could say that more than often any attempt to make an attractive character either backfires or else gathers so much unwanted attentions. Nothing prevents them from getting themselves immersed in troubles. And from my personal experience, bad roleplayers tend to focus around on the "bishonen" side of my characters so they can jump into their pants. More than often, the usual 2edgy4u, always dominant vampire hunks who use the winchester brothers' pics and judge characters based on how hot their personas look like. However, NPCs I do tend to be really varied. From things like dwarves and elves to monsters.
