Name: Lady Mohowauuck (Mo), also mistaken for the goddess Gaia/Gaea Age: Looks like a fully-matured woman, around 30. When you were turned: unknown, all she knows of life is being a vampire. Clothes: Often seen in traditional Mohawk garb – a poncho-like tunic called an overdress and a wraparound skirt with shorter leggings. Hair: A dark rich brown with forest green highlights throughout it, gathered in a long, loose braid that hangs down in front of her left shoulder and breast. Eyes: Emerald green with swirls of cerulean blue. She speaks with the plants, and feels their joy and pain. It is in her nature to protect them, to fight for them against human destruction. They see her as a mother of sorts, and bend to her will. As she fights for them, they to, will fight for her. In short, Mohowauuck can commune with and control plants, including speeding up their growth and reproduction. - Wild Shape – Lady Mo is just as attuned to fauna as she is to flora. Mo can take on the shape of any animal found in the Northeastern forests of North America, as these are the homelands she was born to. (Wolf, bear, fox, etc…) Mohowauuck is most commonly seen in the form of a giant arctic white wolf, making her one of the only vampires to gain the respect of and sometimes even the following of the werewolves. - Colors of the Wind – Mohowauuck can channel her emotions into the forces of nature, sometimes without even realizing it. Where one’s sadness might be expressed in tears, Mo’s despair brings the clouds and rain. When Lady Mo is angered, the raging storms and blizzards can wreak havoc and destruction upon humanity. -Spirit Speaker – It is a common Native American belief that all living things have a spirit and a name. Lady Mo can sense the spirits of those around her, both the living and the dead. And should they choose to speak to her, she will always listen and maybe even respond to their needs. Bio/Personality: Being an ageless immortal, Mohowauuck has a cold aloofness towards others. The only humans she has taken company with were the original peoples of the US, as they were the only humans she ever encountered with a true respect for the earth and religious relationship with nature. She fought alongside the natives in what is now NY that’s modern day tribe name shares a likeness to her own chosen name. Mohowauuck is the Algonkian word for man-eaters, as the enemy tribe often called the group of people she led in battle. As a vampire, she sired a few warriors in her fight against humanity, and their pension for partaking of their enemy’s blood in battle did not go unnoticed, apparently. Lady Mohowauuck wears the name with pride, as do her chosen people, who have simplified it to the Mohawks. Lady Mo is fierce in battle, a combination of the forces of nature, a Mohawk warrior, and a savage beast. She does see herself as a goddess of sorts, a protector of the lands. She believes that being a vampire is superior to humanity, as the vile humans need a predator to limit their existence and their potential to destroy the Earth. As a self-proclaimed Mother Earth, she needs to protect her child the only way she knows how… to take down any enemy in her path.
