[b]Personality:[/b] Beck is a classic tomboy. She is boisterous, innately rebellious, and much prefers the company of guys to girls. Never one to mince her words, she is very much a love-me-or-hate-me kind of a person. That said, she doesn’t exactly get into fights, mostly because she really can’t be bothered and would much rather go do something fun instead. She is very laid-back and can both give and take a joke - the only thing that will stop her rubbing somebody up the wrong way is realising that she’s usually just kidding. She loves a challenge, she loves a party, and describing her as the life and soul wouldn’t be unreasonable. She's a born hell-raiser, one for dares, challenges and bets, and either gives it her all or nothing at all. For all her supposed streetsmarts, she does occasionally have moments of staggering naivety.
Despite her tough exterior, she does have an emotional center, although she doesn’t let it show. She is fiercely protective of her friends and loved ones, even when she’s cracking jokes at their expense, and is wracked with guilt and confusion regarding her family’s actions during the second wizarding war.

[b]Appearance:[/b]
Beck is a reasonably short, stocky young woman who, despite her wanton lack of femininity, has boobs and a butt that it has been remarked can be seen from space. Her hair is dirty blonde, neck-length, and tends to whisk around her head when doing anything more exciting than sitting quietly. To the horror of her conservative parents, she wears casual boyish clothes (has never been seen in a dress by anybody at Hogwarts), while her use of makeup fluctuates between the panda-eyes/blood red lippy combo to absolutely nothing.

[b]Background:[/b] Beck’s surname used to be Rowle - as in, she is the niece of Thorfinn Rowle, the violent Death Eater that is now rotting in Azkaban. Her father, she also understands, also committed various atrocities and was an ardent supporter of Lord Voldemort although escaped punishment by claiming to have been under the influence of the Imperius Curse. She has no idea whether or not to believe him, and her father won’t talk to her about it, not that she would like him to. Equally, she can’t connect the warm, jovial man she knows and loves to the ruthless Death Eater of ten years ago. She was heavily discouraged as a child from indulging in muggle culture, but in the aftermath of the second wizarding war, her parents relented, and, being naturally contrary, it was inevitable that that’s where her interests would focus.

[b]Aspirations:[/b] She has absolutely no idea, hence the desire to see the world. She half-heartedly holds desires to become a professional Quidditch player or to jack in the wizarding world altogether and live among muggles although she knows that neither of these goals are terribly likely.

[b]Academic Record:[/b] Beck was not the best student of all time. She received passable OWLs but took primarily non-magical subjects for NEWTs: Muggle Studies, Herbology, Potions and Charms. Muggle Studies was by far her favourite subject. She was, however, a highly competent beater for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team.
