Long car rides made for an unhappy kid, at least that was Vincent's thought as they rode along into the endless night to a place he'd never heard of in the middle of a state he'd never visited. Of course, Kentucky was the last place he thought he would ever end up, growing up a "city boy". He enjoyed his concrete and glass landscapes, not any of this, and the further along they went, the more depressed he became, or perhaps he was just hungry, and pissed off at the other two. His thoughts drifted into an endless stream for hours, until he suddenly noticed the figure up ahead standing in the middle of the road, and a shriek that he assumed could have only come from Nate, before the brakes were slammed down, sending everyone forward, and the poor bastard outside vaulting over the car. "What the fuck, Nate?" Vincent yelled between his clenched teeth, holding his forehead after hitting it on the back of Jennifer's seat. "Didn't you see whatever the hell that was or were you aiming?" As Nate completely ignored the angry remarks and stuck his head out of the window, Vincent leaned forward and grabbed Jennifer's shoulder. "Jen, are you okay?" He looked over at Nate again, who was still surveying the area. "Well fuck this, I say we leave whoever that was behind. We don't need more shit going down and we certainly don't need dead weight." He turned to peer out of the rear window. "And yes, that pun was intentional because I don't see this dude moving..." [@Subject Zero] [@Xandrya] [@Automaton]
