Rocky hardly registered the brief sensation that was Kabiri struggling to free herself of his grip as he crashed through the clearing and into the camp site. The Skälen's breath came in hard, heaving pants as his lungs reminded him once more of why it was a poor idea for him to go running around on planets not his own. His efforts did not go unrewarded however, as he arrived just in time to witness one of the others- a scientist he assumed- engage a creature that he believed was the source of the ruckus. As for the camp itself: it was pure chaos, with scientists divided between running, hiding, and trying to cram themselves back into the ship, and a majority of the security force too preoccupied with trying to get a beat on the beast to properly corral everyone. "Find somewhere safe to wait this out." Rocky said gruffly before setting Kabiri down and stepping in front of her. He then stepped forward and, after filling his still burning lungs with as much air as he could, opened his jaws wide and roared. The sound was loud enough to be felt as well as heard, and could best be described as the roaring of a gorilla, the growling of an elephant, and the screeching of a barn owl, all combined into one long bellow. Rocky held it for as long as he could in an effort to make his challenge clear before he finally stopped to suck in air. He then charged.
