Leon couldn’t help but smile a little when Kasari was describing Xeviiy, he saw and knew what she was talking about it that regard, “Yeah, I know what you mean, though I haven’t spent a lot of time with her, I have seen hints of her abilities with the force as well as that child-like drive what with her being curious, but in that same light, I can see her also trying to be more adult, perhaps it’s why she basically put herself on this mission; I think she understands the importance of fighting when it’s needed but rather not resort to it, an admirable effort I agree, but not one that is always possible.”

“Yes, it was a terrible war,” Leon paused for a moment, thinking about how the war damaged everyone, both physically and mentally before continuing, “I don’t however think Xeviiy can be blamed for her beliefs, currently we’re in a time of peace, none of the young ones have to worry about a war as large as the one with Exar Kun was. Had I been in the war that I am now, I’d probably strive for a peaceful solution as well, rather then plunging head first into war, I’m not saying knowing how to fight isn’t important, just that I can see why some would have peaceful ideals such as your padawan, plus if I’m remembering correctly, Jedi are supposed to always strive for peaceful resolutions first before going into battle.” He let out a small chuckle with a partial smile.

Leon was starting to understand Xeviiy more, little by little through of both her personality as well as her master and how she was being taught and could understand her viewpoints and wishing not to fight. Fighting was a difficult thing to become acclimated too, even more so when it came to taking a life, such as in war and there were two things that always followed after you took your first life, either you’re able to live with it or you weren’t. Leon was in the former category, but that didn’t mean he didn’t think about who he’d killed during the war and hoped that the younger generation, such as Xeviiy wouldn’t have to experience something like that as well.

“So that explains it, I guess such an event would leave the girl troubled, especially if she didn’t take the time to process what she experienced.” Leon spoke, finally understanding fully why Xeviiy had reacted as she had when they’d been sparring. “Also I would look forward to speaking with Arren Kae, I believe I met her once when I was in the order, though it’s been a long time and I barely remember a lot of my time in it, would you happen to know where she is?”

Whilst they were talking, Anna was looking a tad troubled, mostly due to the fact of the causality of the discussion going on, unable to hold back her tongue, “Wait, how can you two be so casual about this? That poor girl could be traumatized because she was forced into a situation like that, I’m surprised she was as stable as she was when we met her!” She blurted out before realizing what she said, readjusting herself by straightening out her uniform.

 “I-” Anna tried apologizing before Leon gently interrupted her, “Lieutenant, I understand how you’re feeling about this, but the Jedi way of teaching is different, there are certain aspects of it that I don’t approve of, but I wouldn’t tell them how to run their order, just as how the Republic wouldn’t like it if they tried to tell us how to run our military.” Leon could empathize with how Anna feeling currently, but he wasn’t about to reprimand Kasari for doing what she thought was right, nor would it solve what’s already happened.

“I apologize master Jedi, my colleague and I know it isn’t our place to judge how Jedi conduct their business, we’re just concerned for your student’s well being is all, she’ll definitely be a fine addition to your order when she passes her trials, that I can see.” Leon bowed a little, knowing that Kasari was probably regretting subjecting Xeviiy to that form of training, perhaps before she was ready and didn’t want to pile on any more guilt.

Anna too bowed to Kasari, realizing her outburst was inappropriate and uncalled for, she felt lucky that Leon was her CO, no doubt if it was someone else, they would’ve harshly reprimanded her for speaking out of line, especially to her superior and a Jedi no less, “Yes I’m sorry for my outburst.” She added on to Leon’s apology. Leon gave a small smile to her before looking back to Kasari, “So, where did you say we could find, what was her name? Arren Kae, again?
