[@Zapdos]: Good on your intuition, except... Not really. Combat will exist, but it's not the centerpiece. With the limits I imposed on magic, it's harder to let mages just... Do everything at once, I guess. The fighting is also more a byproduct of circumstances; a world filled with fighting up until recently isn't going to let it go just like that.
Also... Fear not the giant with the big stick, but the man with the open mind.
Don't think, just do. I'll find a way for everyone to have their place, even if you aren't going to be tossing blows out at the enemy.
