As for your question, this alt timeline starts to diverge early in the Great Depression, when it becomes much worse than in our timeline. I wouldn't say there is a exact point of divergence, though. However diverging does influence and cause the different results of the election.

[@Claw2K11] I like your idea, but a few things: In this alternate history the Great Depression was [i]really bad[/i] for everyone. If you can start to get some self-sustainability that's good and would lessen the effects, like the Mexican Miracle (Thanks Dinh), but I think that it would be [i]greatly[/i] less significant. I think a bit more struggle is needed during the mid parts of your history. Also, a smaller thing, the rp starts a few days after the Treaty of Washington DC, which is later in the year. So if you wanted to mobilize and declare war on a fractured US, you would want to do it actually when it fractures (after August 13th). Fix these and possibly add a bit more detail and I think you'll have a pretty good nation set up.

[@Blekee] Even though you say your background isn't fully developed, I think it still has extreme quality. You are free to post in characters and can still add more to that backstory because I would love to read more.
As for your question, I purposely left out most information about the rest of the world, wanting to see (and was pleasantly surprised by) how people could interpret and change outside countries without many restrictions. Judging by mentions in some apps, and no one has chosen them yet, I think the USSR will be an NPC, without extreme changes made.

[@thorgili] I like your app, but I do agree it conflicts a little bit, and I think it would be a more fun and working app if you went with your prussia idea you mentioned. Do some changing, I like the way this could be going. The idea of ou still being mid-revolution could also be very interesting and maybe add a bit more balance.

However, a side note, we don't start on January 1st, more like November 1st (Due to others having wars and stuff after the Treaty) and that might not even be far enough ahead, we'll have to see. But if that changes anything with your end piece, just wanted you to know.
