Aw awesome! :D  Simple yet powerful. I imagine the Witch's runes would be full of fancy lines and ornate symmetry, since she's rather stuck-up about her work -- but here comes Arty, improving on it with a few line strokes. Love it. xD

These characters are tremendous, and I'm looking forward to seeing where they're headed!
