Although he remembered sending Leah and Wes a PM once he got in, he crashed shortly afterwards and struggled for sleep for the remaining five or so hours. Finally, around eight or so, he got up and prepared for the day. Although albeit slowly, the blond was finally ready by about eight thirty and had already been messaging the much more awake and hyper Leah. The two had hatched a plan: the two of them, along with Wes, would head to Dunkin' Donuts to surprise CJ, Colette, and Ivy before the convention. They would do it in the most subtle way, too. That made it even better. Now it was closer to eight forty-five and he was just sitting on the hotel bed, waiting for Leah and Wes to show up. Although he admitted to being a little anxious to meeting the two face-to-face, he would prefer to meet those two before anyone else. He had a fairly good relationship with both of them, even if Wes was a bit of a mystery to him (and a mystery for the other as well, he suspected). Lost in his thoughts, he hadn't immediately realized that there was a knock on his hotel door. Processing what exactly was about to happen, he went over to open the door and was greeted with the short strawberry blonde and her black-haired companion - "Miles!" She said, her camera hanging loosely around her neck, ". . Hi," she said almost nervously and he could immediately sense that the two felt the same way that he did. "Hey," he said offering a tired smile to both of them, "Wes, Leah. It's really great to see you too. Like. . really. In fact, I'm actually in shock that this is totally happening right now." "Yup! Same for us! Right, Wes?" "Oh yeah, definitely," he said with a bit of a casual shrug. Leah smiled a bit deviously, grabbing her camera. "Now let's go shock those other three a little bit more." And Miles had smiled back as well. Now she was talking his language.

Ivy Brooks
Interacting with: CJ && Colette

Ivy was surprised by the hug, but it was a pleasant surprise. She was more than happy to return Colette's hug before setting her food and drink down on the table that Colette had considerately moved. Taking a seat on the chair that Colette had been patting, she quickly found herself comfortable next to the two best friends and crossed her legs. She listened to CJ talk about perhaps the largest traveling group as she popped open the Munchkin box. As CJ finished speaking, Ivy nodded in understanding. "I'll save some Munchkins anyway. I'm sure they'll let us eat on the convention floor. . probably," as she said that, she was quick to shove a glazed Munchkin into her mouth and practically devoured it. God, she hadn't realized that she was starving. "Lucky them, getting to travel with their whole family," she mused with a smile as she slid the box over to the other two and waved towards it, "Do either of you want one?" Smooth, Ivy, smooth.

Leah White
Interacting with: Miles && Wes

Leah was now in the lead of the trio heading for the small building that was only across the street now. It was hard to believe that the small orange and pink building now held three of her online friends that she had almost known for two years now. While it was a dream come true, she was having a hard time even speaking to Miles. Luckily, Wes was there to save her skin and he seemed much better at this whole "talking thing" and was able to keep the blond from Nevada distracted for the entire walk. As the trio crossed the street, Leah nearly ran for the glass doors as she grabbed the handle and coolly opened it for the other two. "After you," she said politely as she received a smile from Miles who walked by her, "Alright you two, remember, subtle." "Subtle is what I'm best at," Wes commented, following Miles inside. Leah was now behind the other two and was now in the presence of her other three online friends. It was now nine on the dot. Ivy, CJ, and Colette were all in here. Miles was also in here. And she also had Wes who was someone that was occasionally reliable. The plan was simple and it was executed flawlessly: Wes headed up to the counter and began to order while Leah and Miles stood in the back and began discussing with one another. Miles took the lead: "There's so many Dunkin' Donuts around here. I'm not surprised seeing as it's New York City and America runs on coffee. Imagine if Ivy, CJ, and Colette were in this one, huh?" Leah followed up with: "Yeah, what a surprise that would be!"
