I know I tried working on a different character before but RL got too busy and I have a better base character.

Appearance: Marcus stand at 6'3" with an average but muscular build with short, spiky, black hair that appears almost feathery, silver eyes, and a pair of black, raven-like wings, which have dark purple feathers near the base and bottom edge. Each wing can extend at far as he is tall, with a 2 inch gap between the base of each wing, giving him a total wingspan of 12'8".

He wears a pair of black, denim cargo pants, no shirt, black biker boots with steel toes, black, fingerless gloves, and a [url=http://set-studios.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/raven_mask_silver1.74103122_large.jpg]black mask with purple (instead of white) and gold designs[/url]. Sheathed on his left hip he has a pair of black, wooden bokken.

Abilities and skills: He is proficient with flight, single wield katana style, cooking, some small handguns, write poems and short stories, video games, and has extremely good balance.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Being a young adult at top physical conditions, he is stronger, faster, and more hardy than most people. He cannot fly when his wings are too wet, can be killed as easily as a normal human, and his wings are extremely susceptible to flames, such as cloth or hair.

History: Marcus was always a good kid growing up. But society didn't like mutants. He, his brother, and his sister were all born mutants. Him with wings. His brother could control the earth. His sister manipulated water all around her. Because of their mutations, all three children were kept hidden from the world while they were trained with various handguns. Marcus escaped from his country home to explore.

While on the run, Marcus found a small group of other mutants with various abilities and joined them, becoming a hero. While with them, they trained him on how to use a sword, as well as how to defend himself without one. The citizens seemed to love his deeds but hate him.

While on a job, he got sucked through the rift while examining it for an ally.

Personality: Marcus is a free spirit. He loves to have fun but not at the expense of others. He often tries to right the wrongs done against his friends but not against himself. He tries to be the hero everyone thinks he’s supposed to be. He’s hard to anger but will never back down from a fight. He’s very open-minded and open-mouthed, not afraid to speak his mind.
