Ugroth waited patiently for the alchemist to take the two tree nuts not in a hurry at the moment noting her hesitation at first, likely partially caused by his sudden appearance as she had been quite focused. It was understandable given that these were new lands and new plants but he had learned himself or by way of word that most tree nuts were edible if not entirely tasty so taking the chance seemed less severe to him. He imagined that his thought on the matter might not have been entirely correct to someone who would more deeply investigate such things but they had little choice for now besides learning by experience. His own thoughts strayed to what animals might come to eat the fruits or nuts as they could be tracked to more of their kind, an opportunity to gain some insight into them if not simply to get food for the group. The ogre made a mental note of Charlotte's name as she spoke also mentioning the name of her home that took him a moment to place not to mention a lightness of feeling from hearing the chuckle. ~Seems like the shaman and his assistant weren't off the mark in what they said about Astril's finer minds.~ He thought finding the girl's description amusing and accurate about her homeland. The fact that the human was of a similar thought regarding company eased his reservations somewhat as it was nice not to have to explain it. It didn't take much to see just how upset she was over the loss of her alchemy tools let alone her other possessions in the ship though he couldn't blame her for it. His own bow and arrows were lost among the confusion, all of which he had hand crafted himself, which pained him as it was quite important to an efficient hunt. As much as he disliked his loss he was sure with his axe it would be possible to make a new one provided they found proper trees further in land. The hunter had continued to listen as Charlotte spoke again not wanting to stop her even if she had been rambling as there was no need for rudeness especially as the subject was a proper one given the situation. "I'll do my best to avoid that problem though it would be better if I was the one to find out. Might not have as bad of an effect on me so the rest of you remain in good condition." Ugroth said frankly knowing even at less than full capacity he could do his job well enough but he remembered something relating to her concern. "Though it might be less convenient you might be able to use similar methods to our shaman for making use of the plants we might find. I know how to shape wood so it might be possible to make a bowl and grinder once we find some larger trees to cut from." He thought he might offer to at least help in what limited way he could to lessen the difficulty of Charlotte's predicament. There was no reason to not make use of the skills they all had to bring so giving her even simple tool might be of great benefit. "I'm going to start collecting more of those nuts as well as some berries not far off, they look and taste like any good berry I've ever had on my travels." The ogre said casually as he paced back over to the trees removing his pelt to use as a makeshift pouch to hold them fur side out.
