[@RBYDark] A few. One of the points of lovecraft fiction is the idea that a man when faced with an adversary of godlike abilities will invariably fail. One of my hopeful head-canons plays along with the idea to its conclusion, that if a god were to pay attention to vermin such as man, they would indubitably let that person think that they were doing things the way they wanted when in reality the god had been leading them along like a mouse through a maze. Between that and the real world applications, I feel like an interesting story would be one between two friends, one who is actively under eldritch influence, schizophrenic, paranoid, and manipulated, and one who simply does their best to stop the other from destroying themself.
