[@Pathfinder] When it comes to Amethyst cracking, the blunt force dealt directly to her gem would be equal to that of an explosive from that height. Something a bullet simply cannot match. And Holo-Pearl,  being a Hologram which pretty much all the gems and there weapons are, would have had a blade as sharp as gem weaponry and would therefore be able to pierce Pearl's physical form. Firearms simply do not have the capability to injure a gem nor do any other human weaponry (besides explosives). Now, whether you agree with it or not, because there is no definitive to what a gem can take, me and Akaya have agreed that only gem weapons could hurt a gem because they are far superior.
