Basic Information
Name:
Charlie Adam Peterson
Nickname/Alias/Etc:
Ghost Cap
Gender:
Male
Age:
18
Height:
6 ft 0 in
Weight:
185 lbs
Home District:
Academy 61

Appearance
Hair Color:
Brown
Eye Color:
Blue
Ethnicity:
Caucasian
Physical Appearance:
Dreamy blue eyes pierce through a typically despondent face. Always pre-occupied with something elsewhere, the gears in his head constantly churning. A searching look always painted on his face that wanders from avenue to avenue. A crooked nose that has been broken and reset one too many times. That is complemented by a rather soft jaw with a round chin. His cheek bones sit high on his face and they display his cheeks with a soft glow. Charlie's hair is put into messy spikes getting neater has it goes back. His large hands a bit too big for their wrists, but don't undermine the muscle in his arms. Throughout Charlie you can see muscle though not vascular it is present in a way that doesn't bring too much attention but attention well enough.
Attire:
Typically in a long sleeve shirt rolled up to his elbows, khaki pants or shorts and tennis shoes there is nothing much to his style. Simple yet his own.

Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
Friendly and outgoing Charlie likes to try new things. He likes to get along with everyone regardless of their background. While he only maintains typically a couple of close friends at a time he considers all who don't do wrong by him to be his friend. Though he constantly is making up excuses for why he is too busy to go out or for being late he tries to keep trustworthy. He is just a chronic procrastinator that enjoys being alone more than he likes to admit. It seems like when he's alone he forces himself to go out against his own will. He feels practicing his hobbies or working out by himself is selfish and that he should share the experience with others. Throughout his life his honesty has gotten him into more trouble than it has gotten him out of. Charlie is actually quite a good liar, however he always feels disgusted with himself after. In this inner-quest for a seemingly pure life he wants to be a rolemodel. He wants to be that leader, a superman, a knight in shining armor. However even striving for that impossible goal is more difficult than he had anticipated. It ends up angering more people than pleasing, typically because he over-commits himself. Trying to make everyone happy, makes nobody happy and this is a lesson Charlie learned the hard way. After the death of his remaining extended family this over-committing problem grew worse. Charlie constantly was looking for more acceptance, he felt personally responsible for what happened to his family and wanted to feel apart of something again. Typically finishing a day exhausted he rarely has time for his hobbies and this vicious cycle repeats until he breaks. About once a month he loses himself and goes on a drug binge and gets involved with the crowd of people he swore he wouldn't be associated with again.
Hobbies/Interests:
Does card tricks for fun, though the art of Magic died long ago, Charlie enjoys it. It makes him feel like the smartest one in the room and bring attention to him. Plus he gets the attention by doing something he enjoys, the entertainment for others is just a bonus. Kung-Fu movies have always been a passion of Charlie's mostly old ones such as Ong-Bok. One he always returns to is Rush Hour something about the comedy and martial arts combo really gets to him. Old action stars were the reason he started martial-arts at a young age. He always wanted to be that action hero kicking bad guys around. Working out isn't really a hobby of Charlie's but he finds it necessary to achieve the things he wants to. He likes the exhausted soreness he feels after but hates the sweaty, smelly process of actually completing physical activity.
Skills/Talents:
10 years of martial arts training Wing-Chun to be exact. Sleight of Hand, He Plays the Guitar, and is a Talented debater
Goals/Motivation
Prevent others from experiencing the same pain he did/does in any way he can
History/Bio:
Growing up in a small poor family Charlie was an only child and thus he found solace in solitary. It allowed him to take on many hobbies, from music to martial arts. He was pushed by his parents to try as many things as possible, this developed many good and bad habits that shaped his life. His mother especially pushed him to branch out. Charlie never knew his mother's side of the family and for a good reason, they are apart of were major crime syndicate in stadium city. Which has now disbanded, however they remain a rather large gang that goes by the name of "The Brotherhood". At a young age Charlie was diagnosed with ADD and ADHD and his parents began pushing him to more focused based activities. So he picked up the hobbies he currently practices today and continues to thrive at them. At this time Charlie's parents were terrified of this, due to the fact that Macgregor's syndrome is carried through his genes. Macgregor's syndrome was typically late onset in his family and jitters/ trouble focusing were a symptom. Later it was realized these symptoms that were diagnosed as ADD and ADHD were actually just a side-effect of his powers. Thankfully Charlie didn't suffer the same fate a vast majority of his paternal side did. His father, grandmother, and Charlie being the only ones without it active (or present in Charlie's case) in their genes. His powers were discovered soon after he was diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. Charlie and his father were at an archery contest and Charlie finding the set up to the event rather boring took a nap, the only way he could sleep was with a blindfold and earphones on due to his condition. However when Charlie's father went to wake him, he was startled and fell out of his seat onto the range just as an arrow was being fired. The blinded and deafened Charlie then turned and caught the arrow out of the air before it hit him. Charlie wasn't actually enrolled at academy 61 until recently. Charlie was enrolled at academy 45, which is considered to be a farm for degenerates and future criminals. It was discovered that tuition money and a plane ticket were to be his 18th birthday gift. Though rather late to enroll it took 4 years for his parents to raise the money to allow him to go to a better academy.

Relationships
Family:
Known to Charlie: Father: Daniel Peterson Mother: Rebecca Peterson The rest of his paternal family is deceased. Unknown to Charlie (Maternal side & Members of The Brotherhood): Uncles: Damien Finch, Robert Finch Aunts: Delilah Finch Grandmother: Calista Finch Grandfather: Tyler Finch Cousins: Cole Finch, Patick Finch, and Skyla Finch
Dynamics:
TBD

Abilities
Power Class:
Cerebral
Power:
Precognition Charlie's precognition works a little differently than others. While most Cerebral class meta-humans can actually see into the future, Charlie cannot. He can only sense something is to come. While he doesn't know specifics besides danger vs safe and what direction something is coming from. This precognitive blindness hinders his power but allows him to be more sensitive to events to come. So as a sixth sense Charlie experiences influxes in the specificity of his power. In the case of him catching the arrow, the ability at which he was able to predict the arrow's position and speed was only possible because he couldn't see or hear. Allowing his sixth sense to focus in on that event specifically. Meaning the fewer senses Charlie has available to him the stronger his sixth sense becomes. He would never be able to catch an arrow in the crowd of a concert for example. He would merely be able to know something dangerous was coming from the right and would be close to him. However the years of martial arts and focused based training independently and at the academy does allow Charlie to hone his abilities if he really concentrates. It just requires time for him to tune out his surroundings. In a one on one fight he is able to predict the moves of his opponent very well, if he is being attacked by various assailants he would most likely only know who the next attack was coming from.
Limits:
Only the immediate future.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
He's very flinchy, needs to remained focused in order use his ability accurately. Any disorientation, or overload on any of his senses (ex:strobe lights, smelly trash, loud music, extremely bad taste in his mouth, he's covered in mud) weakens his power greatly, and requires more focus to counteract. Even when attempting to sleep at night the room must be silent and dead quiet. He needs to remove as many senses as possible from the equation in order to rest. In short, OTHER SOUNDS AND SENSES INTERFERE WITH HIS PRECOGNITION ABILITY.
