Returning direct eye contact with the Garuda, he wasn't fazed by her... or anything for that matter. And then the whammer - she was unable to perform such a task... at least right now, anyways. While he did display his disappointment with a simple frown and a dreary glance, he didn't seem to truly mind that much as he felt no need to lose any valuable members this early. Unblinking, he gave a nod, silently acknowledging the specific conditions that were needed. "Minimize risk, secure a safe place." Now that he thought about it, it was in the middle of autumn... which meant they would have to have some lodging before winter struck. "Frostbit'... frozen assets," he mutely grumbled as he descended back into the corpse dried wood, but not before nodding to the woman, politely recognizing the end of the conversation. At utmost haste, he retrieved the shattered box he filled with the coupled shards of glass before exiting the boat, making sure to avoid any contact that would result in scattering the glass. As he went out, he managed to catch some response from The Amazon right back at The Magus. Setting aside the splintered box, he eavesdropped for a mere second, managing to catch the end of the response. ... hum. It was about that ruby tinted crystal from what he discerned... something about it being magic? Coupled ideas and memories flew through his head at quick, photographic speeds as he began sorting out the shards of glass. While it would serve to be illogical, Gamie had protection against any cuts or razors as he went on to identify how he could put these to use. Very little of them had what he deemed as feasible arrowheads if carefully chipped around certain edges. "... one and two..." Pushing the other pieces aside, he began looking for a sharp piece he could use for carving. As he started this, a voice emitted from the bowls of the ship, announcing that they had a problem - that there was a snake on a boat. There was a surge that went through Gamie as he heard of this, his head jutting up as his dull eyes seemed to lighten up, only a little. Even a minor thrill as this would fit the bill, though, how long the feeling would persist? Probably not that long. Regardless, he set one of the sharper, crooked edges aside, as even with the risk, there was more concern as of it. Out of everyone here, he evaluated he was best suited to deal with this, as he only really needed to do was shield his face. As the hunter picked up one of the broken ale bottles, he made one step forward... ... before seeing the Garuda aptly respond to handling the situation. While he didn't truly know her skill set, he was familiar with the talk and rumors surrounding her nation and decided to let her handle it now. ... then again, it would be logical to have some form of assistance. "Hey, I thi-" his quiet volunteering would probably be unnoticed for the most part, especially when he stopped after seeing the peppy reaction of Foxy. While the sound was annoying, it thankfully wasn't risky since she wasn't exactly in the presence of the snake. No provocation for now at least. Glaring at the girl for a moment, the sounds all around him seemed meshed - seagulls cawing every twelve seconds, waves of the ocean splashing, the enthusiastic gutting of fish, and the very soft plight of a woman begging for help... Gamies head ricochet as his ears locked on to the latter amidst all of the noise; barely even noticing it as he saw a washed up redhead on the shore, clinging onto a piece of wood as if it was the only thing anchoring her to life... While he was hoping someone else would retrieve the girl, it seemed The Amazon had decided to request for aid from Foxy. While she didn't appear adequately equipped, he would humor The Amazons strategy... he could only pray neither one would bite the dust. Pivoting around, he whipped some of the sand into the air behind him as he began walking forward towards The Lass. As he made his way over, he saw the elf stumble backwards at the sound of the snake, but not before making an unearned comment. Well, it was better late than ever for this. ... or not. That Demon was fast as he actually managed to surprise the hunter a bit; when the bollocks did he get there? Glaring at the Demon, he tried to examine how she was faring, but was lifted up and carried away from the sea. Moving rapidly behind the Oni as she seemed to be struggling to throw up sea water if that was the problem... Watching from behind as she was set down by a nearby tree, now was the time to interject and try to help. "Oy, Dem-," that look of neutrality was met with a glare of morbid dumbfoundedness. His jaw was slightly agape as he stared at the Demon condescendingly as he began to slap the girl awake. From her appearance, that only seemed to mix red and green together... making a rather... disgusting coloration. Sighing, the hunter made his full approach while hearing the man speak about water. ... ok so apparently slapping her a couple of times seemed to do the trick. He honestly expected the opposite reaction, but for whatever reason, he suppressed putting his hand to his face for now as that was unnecessary. Of course, despite the moment between them, it was interrupting time. The Demon brought up the good topic of fresh water; Gamie still had the same plan per usual. "... thought she would be worse off after that, Gamie mumbled, shoving himself up as his foot dug into the dirt. Glancing off to the side, the hunter stared at the elf for a couple of seconds. "... water'sa problem... oi Magus," he spoke loud enough for her to hear, "I need t' talk t' ya about somethin'." Moving towards the wreckage once more, the man left behind the duo as he reached out his arm and beckoned the lady to follow after him.
