We really need an advanced virtual reality simulation which is capable of simulating the real world to maximum accuracy, factoring in everything from the calculated to the random.

Because right now, people are satisfying their aforementioned morbid curiosities in the [i]actual[/i] real world, potentially fucking shit up for their millions of less-curious fellows. It's happened once already, and there is still a way too great of a chance it will happen once again.
