Kianna felt an arrow tear through her shoulder and snarls, before pulling herself together to attack Vera once more. The wound was bleeding and she fought to ignore the pain. Aya had scrambled away and she hoped she could get enough distance between the Broms. Kianna sees them begin to flee and leaps to chase after them, paws hitting the ground heavily. Reina was sitting on her bed, going through her clothes. A lot were worn out and too small but she'd have to make due. With a frown she noticed she hadn't seen Ptelea in awhile. Who knows what had happened, those boys were relentless. She had dealt with them before, but did her best to stay on their good side.
Ptelea goes into the house. It was early, maybe 5 or 6 am. No one would be up yet, the adults would be asleep until 8 am. She hurries up the stairs, crying quietly. She looks down the hallway and spots Reina's door ajar with the light on. She sniffs and pushes it open slowly, hoping not to wake her friend or anyone else in the room. Seeing Reina on the bed, she runs over and throws herself into her friend's arms and begins sobbing uncontrollably.
