Alex woke up to a loud wringing emitting from his bedside table. He tried reaching for the snooze button on his alarm clock, but there was no point in trying to go back to sleep. He pressed the snooze button and sat on the edge of his bed. The ringing kept going throughout his ears until the sound dissipated into the sound of the billowing wind from his open window. He looked over to his other bedside table to make sure that a elfin the as there. Sure enough the Pokémon stood rock still on its one leg with its single Crimson eye closed. He silently opened his closet door trying not to wake his sleeping Pokémon. He slipped on his jeans, a red T-shirt, and his black and gray jacket. He put on his socks and shoes, and put his sunglasses in his pocket. He tiptoed down the stairs and make his way through the dark house to the kitchen. By this time it had become a routine for him, he didn't even have to feel for the walls or tables or couches. He turned on the stove and began to make bacon and eggs. Beldum wasn't one for Pokéfood, so he had just started making extra bacon and eggs the whole time they lived in Windshire. Alex didn't even know how his Pokémon ate, as it didn't really have a mouth. It sort of just lifts the food up with telekinesis and it disappears, and Beldum seemed satisfyingly full afterwords. 

Sure enough the smell of breakfast lured the late sleeper out of the bedroom. Beldum casually floated into the kitchen and took his place on the table, where there were now three grooves in the black wood from where the Pokémon stood everyday and where it's toes(?) dug into the table. Alex salted the eggs and put them down on a plate with bacon and put it on the table for Beldum, and then sat down in front of his own plate. [color=Lightblue]"Eat up, Beldum. We have a big day today. We need all the energy we can get."[/color] The Pokémon simply nodded it's head in response and began making its food disappear one piece at a time. [color=lightgray]"Bel, Beldum"[/color] Alex sighed, and handed over the rest of his food to Beldum.

[h3][color=Lightblue]Windshire, Main City - 9:00 AM[/color][/h3]

After loafing around the house for a little bit and walking around the main city, seeing the sites, visiting some shops, and picking up another meal, the duo stood outside the Pokémon lab. In the front on either side of the stairs there were two marble Pokéballs that stated 'Pokémon Lab' on each one. When you got to the top of the small flight of stairs it flattened out and there was a statue of presumably Professor Bonsai with a Starly on his arm. [color=Lightblue]"Why are they all named after trees?"[/color] Alex walked o the front doors and opened them. [color=Lightblue]"Hello?"[/color][/center]
