I actually have established Gods/Godesses in this setting. I will add them before bed tonight or after I wake up tomorrow. I just hadn't gotten around to updated them yet haha. 
I will say though, that I have not made a Sun God yet, though it's for reasons within universe. There's an EverGod, who is a God to all Gods, and he is the one who created the Sun and Maroleth and the Moon, etc. But if your guy wants to Worship him for that sole reason, or if he wants to be apart of a (only technically) cult of the sun, I'm all for it.
