The pristine white floors, the small but intricate fountains, and the beautiful hanging light decorations. "Woah..." he muttered under his breath, suppressing him self from actually yelling it. Every step he took the sound of his tennis shoes clapping against the floor echoed throughout the lab with its high ceilings. Then he saw the professor at the front desk with a load of paperwork. He walked up to the very front of the desk and she pulled out something that had a fab on it listed 'Trainer Files' and then their name. "Oh. Um, I'm Alex. Alex Rossmoore." He said still looking around the great lab in awe. Beldum zoomed in from behind his shoulder. "Beldum! Bel bel!" Alex gave a soft chuckle. "Right, and this is Beldum." Alex then heard a sound of the doors opening more and a slew of other trainers filed in, one of them leaving some of the clean white floor tiles a murky brown. Alex kind of felt bad for the janitor who had to clean that up. And now that he thinks of it, he didn't even know if that was muddy water. There was yet another trainer who came in soaking wet, but at least this one wasn't dripping brown. The professor smiled at his Beldum's sudden need for attention. He shuffled through the files for a few seconds longer before coming to Alex's. "Ok then Mr. Rossmoore, here is your file and your key." Alex grabbed the small manilla folder that had his name on it and took the key out, labeled '0112'. He opened his locker and grabbed his trainer card, his registration, and there was also a long black case. He unclipped it, and inside were five shiny new Pokéballs, and a Pokédex. He had seen Pokédex adds on TV, they called them a trainers essential. But they were just sooo expensive. He didn't have enough to buy one let alone for six more people. He clipped the Pokéballs to his belt and put the Pokédex in his pocket. His card and registration he put in his wallet. "Thank you professor." The professor simply nodded as Alex walked out of the door.
