Alright everybody, revised my CS.
Name: Rachel Lilian Age: 26 Personality: Lilian is the type of lady to know exactly what she wants, and she can easily maneuver herself to get it. She's very smart and attentive, and can easily devise a plan to get in and out of a desired situation. For all of her 'go-getter' traits, she can be notably manipulative and draining. She has the tendency to swindle her friends, family, and acquaintances out of what she wants. Of course, she does have a shred of respect for certain people, but that could just be her realizing there are some people in the world you don't screw around with. Narcissism, reckless, and being coercingly manipulative are her most apparent negatives. Lilian has no cares for random people, and focuses her (frankly short) amount of metaphorical fucks on only her closest friends and family. Lilian does do her damnedest in keeping her few 'allies' on her side. While you can certainly say her motives aren't the best when she does it, she'll get you exactly what you want or need before you realize you may need it, which is why she's surprisingly popular and respected in her small circle of friends. Appearance: Lilian is somewhat tall for a woman at 5'8, and her shoulder-length pony tail of wine red hair is usually hidden by the hood of a jacket. She has an injured left eye, a bandage kept in place with a piece of cloth that wraps around her head. However, this isn't easily noticable at a distance due to her affinity for keeping her hood up at all times. She near always wears a baggy jacket over a simple t-shirt and a pair of track pants. Due to the amount of funds she has laying around, she could get clothes for a special occasion easily, she just has no desire to and probably wouldn't bother unless there was a pressing need. History:
Lilian is the latest descendant of an accomplished military family, her father and mother being an airforce pilot and a juvenile psychologist, respectively. Her father, Richard Lilian, was mildly upset at first to get two girls, wanting a strong young man to continue the family tradition, but found some semblance of comfort when his youngest showed an interest in stereotypical boy's activities. Aside from her mild tendency to be 'one of the guys', Rachel had a standard childhood and set of teenage years. Her not-so-swell personality traits began to develop once she realized how gullible other people were in elementary school, getting out of trouble many times. When she came of age, her parents funded her trip to college, and she was an utter genius in her major of engineering, getting a Ph.D just a scant few months before the recent events in Mercer City. As an honor student who worked very efficiently, she accrued a good amount of funds, and decided to take the task of actually finding a way to use her knowledge slowly and easily. Even though she was happy with the current status quo, she soon became distressingly, sheerly bored. She turned to her friends for suggestions, and what ultimately resulted from a meeting with one of her less reputable acquaintances was a morphine addiction, and a party to look forward too. At the day of the event, a mysterious wave of dark energy exploded across the town, and she ditched the get-together before it started. On the way back, she began noting odd occurences. More people out and about then she'd expected, pedastrians acting weirder, strange apparitions that weren't there when she looked again. She slept it all off, but was awoken in the wee hours of the morning by a crazed burglar breaking into her flat. She fought off the intruder with a knife, yet the maniac had one of his own, and she was stabbed in the eye and actually injured for the first time in her life. After fending the man off and calling the police, she was rushed to the hospital, and began noticing one of the odd shadows from before following her around, protectively... Now, thirsty for answers, she seeks out the source of this nonsense - Mercer City.
Skills: * As evidenced by her well earned PhD in engineering, Rachel is adept at maintaining and constructing many mechanical systems. She could easily deconstruct a firearm or sabotage a car, not to mention construct simple objects out of common items. * She can throw handheld objects quite far and with decent accuracy, due to some childhood experience playing baseball with her father. * She knows how to wrap someone around her fingers and keep them there, as long as she has decent information on them beforehand. Without the information, the accuracy of her little white lies and the effectiveness of her sympathy-gaining stories decreases. * Rachel has a surprisingly strong will, and she's cocksure of what she wants, when she wants it, and what she doesn't want. In other terms, she'd be hard to manipulate or take control of. Other Information: Rachel has roughly 40,000 dollars (USD) available to her, in two separate bank accounts from different banks. Rachel has connections to both the criminal underworld and intellectual communities of Mercer City. She lives by herself in an apartment that she pays for, near the edge of the city. Rachel enjoys making money, spending money, creating graffiti where no-one would realistically find it, and prank calling people she doesn't like alongside people she does. She'd never admit it, but she has an extensive collection of tiny multicolored horses that she's gotten a hold of both legally and illegally.

Beware the Friendly Stranger Name: Beware the Friendly Stranger Appearance: Beware the Friendly Stranger shares the same general silhouette of its host, Rachel, being a somewhat tall female figure wearing apparently baggy clothes. However, its frame is shrouded by a 'pixellated' mirage, likely due to Rachel's affinity for lying. Steel thorns, akin to syringes, dot its shadowy surface, looking akin to a recent addition. For all of its 'darkness', it appears to still reflect light to some extent, brightening up the night when the moon is visible. Powers: Beware the Friendly Stranger has a multitude of powers, all derived from Rachel's tendencies of lying, manipulating, selfishness, and recent drug usage. * BtFS's primary offensive ability is its power to drain 'energy', metaphorical and actual, from targets in physical contact. To biological targets, such as a human or animal, it can erode its mental 'will to live' in one-half to three-and-three-quarter seconds of maintained contact, depending on the awareness of the target, and its will. To a mechanical target, it can consume electrical, mechanical, chemical, or kinetic energy to feed itself, causing it to temporarily move faster. * BtFS, stemming from Rachel's manipulative tendencies, can cause hallucinations, false images, and incite desired emotions in targets to distract and disorient enemies, and to cloak itself and its master from enemy Shade users. However, its ability to cloak itself and its master doesn't work properly on non-Shade users, due to it being invisible in the first place, and it requires a recent feeding from a considerably energetic mechanical object, such as a car battery, or something moving very fast. * BtFS, influenced by the highs and lows of an incoming morphine addiction, isn't hindered by a Shade's usual rule of mirroring damage. In simpler terms, Rachel can use BtFS much more offensively, since its pain and damage isn't shared to her as well. From the same ability, BtFS can recover from damage mildly quicker compared to others, but due to Rachel's own relative fragility, it is easier to damage in the first place.
Approve and I'll shove it into the character tab.
