While he was doing this, his eyes shifted to the side, knowing that The Magus was present. As he matched a few pieces together, he found that certain parts would be excellent for melding... if this worked of course. Grasping some sand and a piece of glass, he thought of another idea for crafting before letting the grains slip through his fingers. Gamie stood up to the stature he previously was in - tall and erect. Pivoting around, he wiped some of the grains onto the broken splinters before silently listening to her complaints. Yes, he did know some of their names, but he could only glare back as she proudly proclaimed her full name, lineage and all. Gamie honestly... he just honestly wanted to do business... plus, nicknames were easier anyways. "Gotcha Magus..." As he grumbled, holding a shard of glass up near his own face. "Magic... ya can do things like turn hard thin's soft an' such..." As he spoke, he moved out of the way, displaying the collection of shards, along with the retort and crossbow in full view. Gamie then held the translucent glass somewhat closer to the elf as he continued, speaking almost mutely. "Can you meld glass?" He slowly went down and snatched a piece, pressing it lightly together against the other as a demonstration, continuing to break his own record of speaking. "Water is obviously difficul' t' come by," he stared at the ocean longingly, "s'I have a plan to remedy this and t'requires yer specialty." Clearing his throat, for the moment, he set the two shrapnel by each other on the side before continuing. "I needja ta' heat specific glass shards up t'th' poin' where they are fused." Gamie knew he could just hunt for some creatures, but for certain they would need storage of water. Glancing at the duo and his other companions, this would probably take some time and the water they would get should be exhausted for people in the vicinity. Turning his head back to the elf, he eyed her, as if he was judging her every movement and action. Putting his hand on his side, he hoped to see a demonstration of her abilities first."... will explain th' rest afte' you show me y'can... IF y'can anywai's."
