Story You awaken in a large, dark room with your head throbbing in pain. There's little doubt in your mind that you shouldn't be here - but then again, where were you to begin with? You could swear just yesterday you were at the grocery store picking up food, hanging out with friends, confessing to the one you love, or watching a scary movie online. You were living your normal life yesterday, but in this new environment, you can't recall how you ended up in this unfamiliar grey room. Eventually, dim red lights begin to turn on at the far side, illuminating the room in an ominous crimson. You begin to see and hear other people around you, also waking up. They seem to be in a similar state to you. No one can properly explain what's going on, but when it seems like everybody has woken up, the red lights turn green and the sound of machinery fills the room. A hatch in the middle of the room turns and opens, revealing a ladder that goes down into a dark abyss. Looking around you see a few people with desperation who begin to make their way to it. In the distance you can hear a faint crying sound, but whatever courage you can muster possesses you to descend the ladder. At the bottom is a well-lit hallway that goes straight. At first it seemed straightforward. The first thing you could see is people gathered around something halfway through the hallway. As you approached, you could feel the scent of death in the air. Had somebody been killed? The idea made you nauseous. When you finally reached it, your mind began to fill with all other types of questions. Slowly people began to turn and look at you. It was unclear what they were thinking; not that you cared. You had your own thoughts to worry about right now. Namely, there was one question present in your mind. Why were you looking at your own dead body?
