At the very least he would probably need to grab some food for his Sneasel when it hatched. All of the guidebooks recommended feeding it almost immediately. Checking his balance, he noted that he only had about 750P to spend on supplies. Sighing at the meager amount of money he entered the store. At this point the egg was moving so often it seemed to shift his bag slightly from time to time, to an outsider it may have looked like there was a Pokemon trapped inside of it. If you're going to hatch, just do it. Ian thought to himself. It was slightly frustrating to have it be so close and yet still remain unhatched. Ian walked around the store trying to keep himself on a budget. He found a few apples and some cheap snacks that would work well enough for a little while. While he did grab his snacks, he spent most of the money on Pokemon food. The potions that he was given upon registering would certainly do nicely, those would almost definitely last until he got to another town...past that? Eh, he'd just have to figure it out when he got there. "Will this be all for you sir?" The clerk asked nicely. Ian looked at the items he had purchased and then back up at the clerk. "Yes." He said plainly. The clerk eyed him slightly, of course Ian likely came off as rude with such a short answer, but he didn't see the point in wasting breath on small talk. As he placed all of his items in his backpack and carefully put the straps back on his shoulders the egg seemed to come alive for a moment. It shook pretty violently at first and then simply stopped. Ian quickly took the backpack back off and checked inside. Everything seemed untouched, the egg included. He scowled for a moment and then sighed. "Nothing."
