Jett stopped in his tracks. He stood in silence for a long moment, and found himself refusing to continue towards the Rabin camp. [i]I'd really hoped things would play out differently...[/i] he sighed inwardly. But it felt as though nothing had been resolved, and he was questioning whether returning would even make him happier than he was living on the streets. "I was wrong," he called to her, his voice cold. "You have changed. I didn't come to the Rabins just looking for a roof over my head and some food to help me get by, Sacha, I could have found that elsewhere. I came back because I was looking for something. Something I've been missing. But the answer isn't this. So while I appreciate the offer, I'm going to politely decline," he stated coldly, his gaze hardened over with disappointment. "Find yourself another ex to kick around," he muttered under his breath as he turned away from her.
