Truth or Dare?
Tonight we will commemorate our first official held event on the Guild Discord. Tonight we will be holding Open Game Night which is essentially an event that is meant to "break the ice" between members of the Discord server. Although the Discord server has only been active for approximately two weeks, friendships have been forged and Roleplays have been developed as a result of it. We would like to continue this trend and we welcome newcomers and more shy members of the group to partake in this event. So, what exactly is Open Game Night? It is a night dedicated to games that all members of the Guild are able to play regardless of their situation - don't have a mic? You can still play. Don't have a computer? You can still play. Don't have a certain game or can't run said game? You can still play. Open Game Night is essentially a series of "verbal" (or text-based, if you so wish!) games such as Truth or Dare, Would You Rather?, Never Have I Ever and so on. Other online games involving Jackbox TV, Cards Against Humanity and Board Game Online are all free game as well. We're allowing TTS shenanigans and ask that you do not take advantage of this (i.e: if it gets annoying, we'll put an end to it). If anyone wishes to set up a Tinychat or Google+ Hangout for a webcam feature, then that is entirely fine as well! Please remember that both microphone and webcam are entirely optional and we do not want to give unwarranted anxiety to any members who wish to partake. The festivities will begin at 9 PM EST. This means 8 PM CST, 7 PM MST and 6 PM PST. There is no specific end time for Open Game Night and it can run as late into August 14th as the members wish. That's about it in regards to Open Game Night. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you all there! Note: Open Game Night will be held in the discord_events channel.
