Jillian was ecstatic, her heart weightlessly dancing in her chest to a beat she hadn't known before, though one could hardly call it love. She had been waiting as patiently as she could for the moment she would meet a stranger whom of which she would join in wedlock, her hands fumbling in her lap, slowly chipping her finely manicured nails which she had worked so hard on perfecting, along with the rest of her wedding attire. Love was something that seemed strange to think of, longing was a more appropriate term, but what was she really longing for? Perhaps it was just to show someone her amazing fashion sense? Or having someone see her at all without a disapproving look, like her parents? She frowned deeply at the thought; Her parents no longer looked upon Jillian as the daughter they so proudly spoiled with love and approval, but rather an alien, estranged and pushed away. It was no surprised they wouldn't show to her wedding. She had no one, not her parents, not her old friends from high school, and being an only child with no other recent relatives to contact, she would have no guests of her own to show. Jillian shook her head, holding her chin in the air as she adjusted her posture, wanting to extrude pure confidence for who ever her match was, after all, this was a her day, she ought to be ready for it with a smile. She pulled a small mirror from her Hello Kitty purse to examine her outfit, which was a flowery, powder-blue sundress made to be light and elegant, with her long, blonde hair done up in a braided bun shaped like a rose. Her face was lightly contoured with winged eyeliner which took a ridiculous amount of time to get without her ending up looking like a raccoon. Some may think putting on make-up was easy, but no' it was an art that took years to master, especially if one was to look as good as her. She was a the Yoda of make-up. Jillian giggled to herself with the thought. As the time neared for the ceremony to start, she coated her lips with watermelon lipgloss, rubbing them together, humming 'here comes the bride' as she observed the magnificent building in which she sat in.
