The Girl can see and speak with Demons verbally and telepathically. Most Demons ignore The Girl, going about their 'lives' as a Demon would. All Demons but the Demon Lord himself, who wishes for The Girl to join them and become the Demon Lord's Queen. It's the Body Guard's duty and job to protect The Girl from falling into the Demon Lord's clutches.
