Finding a passionate return kiss from his best friend was shocking and exhilarating as he leaned into it as well. As her hand went into his hair, one of his slid around her waist and supported her lower back in a gentle fashion despite the passionate interlock of lips they were in. Had you told him a year ago that he would be a lip lock with his best friend he probably would have laughed at you. Then again… had you told him he would be seeing her again he probably wouldn’t have believed you. She disappeared off the face of the planet and he was certain she would never return. But here she was, and here she was in his arms. Well almost in his arms. She left as the kiss broke and he felt empty without her. He was ready to pull her close and express a lot of passion but she distanced herself even more by standing up. Leaning back against the couch, Gray couldn’t help but smirk lightly up at her, it wasn’t like her to fumble over her words, blurt out randomly and barely seemed like she could keep herself compose. Gray let out a gentle sigh and rose to his feet. “Well… seeing as you offered.” He said with a tiny smirk moving back across his lips. “I’ll be right back.” With that he left the room. This time when he got into his apartment, his footsteps were lighter and less clumsy. He returned a few minutes later with a small bag. “You know me,” He said with a cheeky grin as he set down the bag next to the couch, “I might forget if I’m not here. And don’t worry, I don’t mind sleeping on the couch.”
