[i]To be honest I don't know too much about it's orgins or what have you but the idea of a Sadie Hawkins dance is that the GIRLS ask the BOYS to the dance instead of the "normal" way of boys asking girls. During Sadie Hawkins dance they usually have a "jail" area where people can pay to get other's in. Usually its just a marked off area on the floor, and to get out you need to give someone a kiss. It's pretty silly, and as I think about it, it's probably why my school has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the state LOL but it's kind of fun, and I think both putting people in the jail and having chances for some characters to get their smooch on would be so cute. Also the ability for the girls to ask the guys :) [/i]
