She guessed it was because of her smoking, he usually took charge and she knew it drew unnecessary attention, especially when it seemed nobody else in the whole station was smoking. She didn't care. Times like these were when personal risks could be taken, at least to her. She took another long drag of her cigarette before blowing it out in a long straight line in front of her. She took another almost straight away, but let her arm rest at her side afterwards instead of going back to it. The grey cloud started to spread and rise around the teenagers but she didn't take much notice. Zoey looked around the group in a circle, smiling gently to herself as she did. The situation may not have been the best, but at the moment she felt quite relaxed and happy. She was with good friends, people she had come to recognise as a family, a very dysfunctional family, but a family nonetheless. She was out, exploring, adventuring. Well, not quite, but she tried to put a positive spin on it. She had always wanted to be out of her shithole back in London and while she did occasionally get homesick she was enjoying the freedoms she had in a place that was much more sunny and beautiful. And best of all, she had everything she needed for a good night; Weed and cigarettes. She looked around the circle of teenagers as she thought about each of them. First her eyes drifted over Emily. Her nickname suited her well, Bitch, and that wasn't an insult to her. She was funny, and Zoey could easily get along with her as she enjoyed the crude jokes and fucking about nearly as much as Emily herself. Looking across next was Jace, the nerdy computer guy. But he was adorable, and Zoey knew that she couldn't really disrespect somebody who held as much intelligence as him, which was more than she could ever hope to have. If she kept going around the circle she got to Max and Spencer. The most unsubtle but the most cute couple ever. She loved them, even if sometimes they did annoy her. She looked around again, before realising they were missing somebody. Where was Addie? "WHERE'RE WE GOING NOWWWWWWW? BOOOOOO!" Zoey almost jumped out of her skin. "For fuck sake, Addie!" She said to herself, backing away from the group for a second to regain herself. She opened her mouth to speak again, but Emily had said what she was going to, so she kept quiet. She really did wonder sometimes what was wrong with Addie. She took in a deep breath before lifting up the still burning cigarette and taking another pull, watching and listening as Addie went on... a rant? Telling a story? She was so confused. This girl could literally talk for the whole world. But without and kind of pauses or breath taking, and almost everything she said was nonsense. Still though. She was funny, and she was so naive to everything that she was sometimes nice to talk to, when Katie really did want to just laugh. She walked over, taking another pull before putting her hand on Addies shoulder. "It's just regular ground, Addie, with grass and dirt and stuff. But you can put up tents on it and camp overnight and stuff". She said, smiling softly. "Nothing too special". She said. "And I race through soundcheck, just to meet you, on your fag break, and you convinced me to put life aside. And want you".
