[@tobiax] The pantheon myths, and religion/faith in general, comes out of ancient man's observation of stellar and planetary movements. So it's more than just a name tie. The planets and contellations weren't just named for the gods and other figures, they were seen as almost literal representatons of them. Mythological stories were first written [i]in[/i] the night's sky. There is a very strong connection between astronomy and spirituality that does not exist just in names alone. 

But like I said, I'm also open to the other dieas, or something more grounded within the real world kind of like how Data Squad and Tamers started out.
