Opal Scrambling out of one of her more favored and hidden napping spots after hearing the howling in the distance, she realized the magnitude of the mistake she had made. She normally didn't do this, and she was furious with herself for letting it happen even once. She missed the morning gathering, she was missing the hunt, she failed her pack. Desperately hoping she'd be able to redeem herself, she hurried away in the direction of the howls. Perhaps it wasn't too late to join the hunt. She ran as quickly as she could, though she was slowed down some by the hunger that nagged at her belly. While she ran, she considered howling to the others, but something was stopping her. Little doubts and anxieties began trickling into her mind. They reminded her of the mistake she made, gave her doubts, confused her. She growled in frustration, shaking her head to try to clear her head. This always happened. This always made it so difficult to talk. She just had to not think about it. For now. She tilted her head toward the sky and let out a howl, calling to the others on the hunt. She announced her position with that, and let them know she was joining the hunt.
