Horror adventures and legacy of dragons. The former has some odd but fun archetypes for darker/evil characters. The later has some sweet archetypes that grant you a drake (which I'm eyeing the cavalier one...)

Keep in mind that it's fairly recent and the OGC is pretty behind on their content. Which means either buy the pdf's or find a way to pirate 'em (which I've been having issues doing lately).

@Yamazaki Hmm. Alright. I'll be on the lookout.

@Kibaro Yeah, I will be.

Think it's about time I reopened everything. We have three people so far as players, so I'd prefer a four man party. One more would be ideal, but I wouldn't be opposed to a five man party so long as we can still move things along at a consistent pace once it gets going.

Haven't been checking the site recently, just logged in to see this being picked up.
I'll change the character I'm gonna play (since I ended up using the concept on a different campaign), but I'm in.
Remind me, do we have any restrictions on character creation?

Edit: Decided to make some small changes to the character and just play him differently instead. I'm good to go.

So with a four man party now in effect, we can either start the campaign or wait for one more. I'll give it another day just to be sure, but other than that there's one spot open for anyone who may want to join in after it's begun. If this is our party for now, I guess I'll be making my opening post some time tomorrow!

Sorry guys, had to clear out of the house for the day as apparently the girls in the suite next to me had an infestation of some kind so they had to spray a bunch of chemicals 'n crap around both of our suites. I'll be able to make the opening IC post some time tomorrow though.

The opening IC post is up! Decided I'd let you all make the posts detailing why you're in Klaus rather than me forcing it onto you. Other than that, the RP is officially good to go.

In terms of posts, I'd prefer we set up an actual order for out-of-combat posting. Everybody will post their introduction post, and that will be our regular order. I'd like it if we could have one post per person in a constant order, but if enough time passes (I'd say 48 hours or so) without anyone giving notice to why they can't post, I'll consider skipping it over so that the next person can post (And the skipped person would do their next possible post when it comes around to their turn in the order again).

This will be different in battles though of course; initiative and all.

despite being just the introductory post, i decided to involve an animal handling roll (it might or might not affect the story), but since i kinda forgot how the rolls work, until i get a better hang of it, please let me know what i have to do:) I included outcomes for both scenarios in the post meanwhile :) hopes that's ok with you

Usually for druids, you only ever need an animal handle check if you're trying to affect animals other than your companion. It is assumed that your animal companion follows you as best it can (which means you basically play both characters as PC's, in terms of roleplay).

But that's what I usually do/have seen done. We'd still need @Speedwagon to confirm.

Yeah, basically what vos said. Your animal companion is pretty loyal when compared to other animals that you may try to tame with a handle animal check; for those I'd have you roll handle animal. It's fine if it's your main druid companion though.

well i consider the panther more like a friend than a "tell me what to do npc", as in i let him do mostly what it wants, except when things get serious then i "boss" it around, that's why i kinda wanted to "let" it choose if it wants to come with me or prefer to stay at its desired shelter

that and wanting to remember how rolls function early, plus i like rolling dices xD

anyway if that's the case, i'll let the panther come with me, thanks for the clarifications :D

Question, do Catfolk and actual feline animals have anything with each other? Like, can they understand each other, do they respect each other or not or how would it go?
