Juan used Luvdisc and Seaking. Liam called on Sceptile and before he could toss out his other Pokémon, a different ball popped open and Skrelp emerged.
 "Skrelp, use Toxic on Luvdisc, Sceptile use Leaf Blade on Seaking!" Both attacks were fired off. Luvdisc was badly poisoned and Seaking was slashed. 
 "Sweet Kiss on Sceptile Luvdisc, and Seaking, use Rain Dance!" Juan ordered. Sceptile became confused while Seaking summoned a rainstorm. Sceptile meanwhile had in his confusion turned on Skrelp. 
(Toxic/Rain 1)
 "Skrelp, used Venom Drench! Spray Juan's entire half of the battlefield!" Skrelp did so, after taking a Bullet Seed, which hit four times. Luvdisc's Swift Swim did not save it from being hit.
"Sweet Kiss on Skrelp Luvdisc, Seaking Horn Drill on Sceptile!" Sceptile was able to evade the OHKO move. Skrelp dove underwater to evade the confusion move.
(Toxic/Rain 2)
"Luvdisc, Water Pulse on Skrelp, Seaking, Hyper Beam on Skrelp." 
Skrelp was knocked out. Seeing this, Sceptile snapped out of confusion and became enraged. He used Sunny Day. Luvdisc was KO'd by poison.
(Sun 1)
"Solarbeam on Seaking!" Liam ordered. Seeking was knocked out by the grass move, and ended the first half. Liam recalled Sceptile so that the battle field could change.

"Sealeo!" Juan called.
 Liam sent Sceptile back out.
(Sun 2)
 "Solarbeam!" Liam called. The attack landed critically and one shotted Sealeo (120 base *1.5 for STAB *2 for weakness, *1.5 for Crit= 540) Sealeo was swapped for Wishcash
(Sun 3)
 Liam called for another Solar Beam, This one also one shotted, due to the double weakness. Milotic came out.
(Sun 4)
"Rain Dance!" Juan called.
 "Leaf Blade!" Liam called. Milotic evaded the attack
(Rain 1)
 "Bullet Seed!" Liam called. Milotic dove underwater to avoid the move. Juan called for a Twister and Milotic did so, grabbing water in the attack as well. 
 "Now, Ice Beam!" The column of water was frozen in ice, and Milotic fired Dragon Pulse into it, KO'ing Sceptile.
(Rain 2)
"Go Pikachu!" Liam sent out the mouse Pokémon. 
 "Thunderbolt!" Liam called.
 "Iron Tail." Juan ordered. Pikachu was smacked before he could do the move, which missed when he used it.
 (Rain 3)
 "Ice Beam!" Pikachu evaded the move with fast footwork. Pikachu landed up on a rock from the dodging.
 "Iron Tail the floor!" Liam called. Pikachu did as Liam said, and was propelled up to the sprinkler system. 
 "Iron Tail into Thunder!" Pikachu sliced a sprinkler head open, allowing water to gush out onto Milotic, making a severe downpour. Pikachu fired electricity into the gushing water. Pikachu used all of his electricity in the maneuver and passed out from exhaustion. Nilotic was KO'd from damage and Liam won the Rain Badge.
 Juan asked them what they planned to do next. Liam said they were entering the contests here and in Pacfilog and would than go to Evergrande for the Grand Festival and League Tournament.
