[color=silver]Reiden has a rather charming appearance. Standing at 5'10", he is tall and well built. You see him and you see a seemingly thin man that doesn't look too well build but that is just the long sleeves he wears nearly every day. A body that he keeps fit with occasional trips to the gym and morning runs far too early when the sun has barely risen. Reiden walks with a sense of respectability and civility. Someone that you could look up to.

A man with untainted skin that is pale and a face full of freckles. His face is rather...beautiful,  though he'd never utter these words himself. Attractive to those that prefer his smile that seems too large for his face and the eyes that widen when he lectures. He is most likely to be seen with large black glasses on his face whenever he is teaching or reading.  Forgetting them won't be too bad since he carries contacts with him at all times but it is regrettable. 

His red hair is wavy and not too hard to handle at all. Reiden has a gentle expression on his face at all times. The kind or simply radiant smile on his face is often seen when you greet him. His cheekbones that make his face seem even more than it is and gives a natural shadow. Reiden has a gentle voice with a British accent that is quite clear. 

His style is simple really. Either professional or casual but not too casual. Reiden has a love for collared shirts, button-up shirts, and suits if the occasion fits. He is rarely seen with a pair of jeans but you may see him in them if it's on his day off and he's relaxing around the town that he loves. Whether you see him on an off day or at work, you can already tell that Reider believes his clothing choice has to be something respectable.[/color]

[color=silver]As a teacher, Reider is a kind and gentle man. And that doesn't actually change for when he isn't handling the students. Reider has a rosy view of every one of his students; kids that he treats as his own. For he has always wanted his own children and has been debating whether or not to adopt. Reider has always been a man that could be counted on. Someone that would have or back or lend you a shoulder no matter what. Reider would likely even risk his life for one of his students. It wasn't a surprise when he declared that he was to be a teacher in the future. Something that he loves and feels like he lives for. When it comes to teaching or science in general, Reiden is obsessive. Eccentric at times even. Often stuttering when he lectures the students with a bright look in his eyes that show he cares. 

His father was a man that rarely ever raised his voice, getting angry only when he absolutely needed to. And Reider's the same in that sense. Vexing him takes a lot of effort. Though he does have a lot of tension built up inside of him. Nevertheless, those emotions rarely ever interfered with how he acts out in public. If it ever does. Reider has a habit of not letting his emotions out, not wanting to bother anyone around him with such things and understanding that his outward personality affects the way that he teaches. Reider does have a bad habit of drinking when he's stressed or more drained than normal. Usually leading to regretful outcomes or just a day in if he's lucky.

A true romantic at heart, Reider will treasure a lover when he has one. Though he is self-conscious which makes him question why they bother dating him. Not so often as before, though. His pessimistic view of himself started as a child, not sure whether her parents were proud of him or not and often pulling his hair out at the fact that he didn't have a 4.0 GPA that would get him into any college that he desired. As he got older and his grades rose, his confidence did as well. That small part of him still worries if he's doing alright, though.

Logical is something that he hasn't always been. Getting into a relationship with a teacher at his high school? Not logical. Though thankfully he was of legal age. Now, he's a full-fledged adult that understands more of how the world goes and that just doing whatever you want isn't acceptable. Reider only does things that are "risky" when he absolutely needs to. He still has that impulsive nature inside of him,  however.  He's just a tad bit more conscientious than he used to be.  Sometimes it's hard to tell though. 

Reider almost always looks forward, the world appearing too large to be kept up inside of negativities. Though he does worry about others much too often. It's practically a hobby by now. Reider's mind is always spinning with thoughts concerning anything really. Reider has a few moments of silents in his mind a day but besides that, he's observing those around him. Making sure that he isn't oblivious to the things that happen around him.[/color]

[color=silver]Born in London, New England; Reiden was never one that longed for too many material items. Whatever he [i]needed[/i], he got. And whatever he wanted that was attainable with a reasonable amount of money, he would have gotten on special occasions. Though it wasn't that his parents didn't have enough money to provide him with the additional luxury items that they could have given him. Laura Hasinton, the exquisite beauty and Reiden's mother; a trial lawyer that breathed fresh air for the job that she did. And then there was his father, Edgar. The owner of a large-scale modeling agency by the name of 'London Goddess' which was a company that he had built 5 years before Reiden was born. The couple had been together for around 12 years at the time and at the current situation, they spoke more about their work than anything else. 

Reiden went to one of the best private schools in London, 'The Reading Blue Coat School' which he went to since he was 11 years old. The academy was probably his safe space or at least the most loved environment for him. Not that he didn't love to see his parents when and if they were home. It was just that Reiden had a love for science that couldn't be filled without the science lab that was provided for him at the school. His love for chemistry had already begun when he was 8 years old. Locking himself inside the comfort of his bedroom, he would read the textbooks to no end. But Reiden was [i]terrible[/i] at every other subject. Math and English were his kryptonite for the first 14 years of his life. However, that didn't last when he was introduced to probably the best beings that he had ever met.

Mr. Flecher was his science teacher. For a simple-minded 14-year-old, he was the man upstairs. The guy with all the answers to his complicated questions about the world. He was his science teacher for 4 full years and his friend even today. Mr. Flecher was probably one of the main reasons for him wanting to become a teacher when he entered adulthood. The science fairs that got him thinking up theories about how things worked. Winning 1st prize in those science contests were probably the proudest times he remembers for himself. Even if there was a 1/5 chance that his parents showed up, Mr. Flecher was always there clapping for him. Like a proud father. 

But the fatherly love didn't last a lifetime It was when he had just turned 17 and his teacher was 4 months past his 25th birthday. Of course, dating a man 8 years his senior probably wasn't the best choice that he had ever made. But it was one that made his heart fill to the brim with what he called [i]true love.[/i] Reiden was obsessed with his teacher that treated him sweeter than any other lover would have treated him if he had a lover before that. Mr. Flecher or John as he now called him was quite the romantic. Handing him flowers in the teacher's lounge before school ended or taking him to fancy and costly restaurants that were  more than a 2-hour drive away from the medium sized town that he lived in. These secret meetings that gave him an adrenaline rush at times. But he already knew that their love wasn't one that would be something to run away for. Well, to Mr. Flecher perhaps it was. The man was in love with Reiden even if he didn't want a single soul to know at first. The moment that he confronted Reiden about how he felt the need to confess their love to his family and Reiden's, his blood went cold. There was a terror deep inside of him and he knew that it was an egregious idea. 

Reiden was dead set against the idea at first. The idea of telling his parents had never even been on his radar before let alone telling him that he was interested in males at all. But as a plain old' 18-year-old, he thought that this was the only love that he would find. So, he confronted his parents with the love of his life. He had expected something along the lines of getting the boot for being gay at all. However, that wasn't the response that he had received. Edgar and Laura were furious that there had been an affair behind their back with a teacher no less. Such a thing happening right in front of them. Laura was the first one to accept it after a month or so but Edgar never actually approved of their relationship. Especially since he was falling ill by the second. Huntington's chorea. It was a disease that his father had seen first signs of 1 year ago. He's still trying to fight it and is surprisingly doing well. Edgar says he is ready to die whenever. That he already lived long enough and besides, it can be 20 years until it finally kills you. Reiden was convinced to never allow it to hold him back for the sake of taking care of him. Which is the reason that he allowed them to continue their love. Though he was still happy when Mr. Flecher was sent overseas for a teaching job that more than doubled the amount of income that he received then. The love lasted 2 years after that before they broke it off due to the fact that: Long distance relationships never work.

5 years after he had turned 20 he had his fair share of romance and beautifully messy breakups. Something that he says 'We're all worth it because the love was an irreplaceable feeling. A feeling of flying beside a shooting star as the clock strikes midnight.' One of his loves went to the same college that he had gone to. An Ivy league school that he got into with a scholarship since he didn't like the idea of his parents being the reason for his success. The college was a fascinating place. Learning all about the scientific wonders and the stars in the astronomy club. A place where he made some of his closest friends even today. Reiden went to college for 5 years before attaining his bachelor's degree. After that, it was off to the real world. The world of [i]adults.[/i] And he finally felt like one. 

The world was a vast place and Reiden had never been anywhere besides London. So, right around 2-3 years after college, he packed up his bags and left the town that he had lived in his whole entire life. He had already made a sizable amount of money working at a private school near his own home. As well as running the company for a while with his father. That had made him a considerable amount of money. Lakewood academy was one of the highschool's that he had applied to work for. He most likely wouldn't have moved if it wasn't for his getting accepted to teach there. Now, Reiden has been living there for 5 and a half years. A splendid 5 years if he does say so himself. He is fairly wealthy, living in Lakewood Summit can be a sign of wealth after all. It does help that he has a fortune waiting for him due to the inheritance that his father is leaving him. Though he'd like to think he'll live longer than he will. Though that may be just a fantasy.[/color]

[color=silver]He worked with his father for a couple of years just before he left to Lakewood. It was a tough time and his father had decided that he wanted him to work there for a bit just to see how it was.That lasted 2 years and honestly, it was a great experience for him. Learning how to run a company alongside his father. 

But alas, it wasn't meant to be. For Reiden had a passion to teach that he couldn't fulfil in the town that he lived in. And he needed to get out of the town that he had been cooped up in for literally all of his life. Now, he works at Lakewood Summit as the high school science teacher.[/color]

[color=silver]{{ Astronomy - "I look into your eyes and see jewels that twinkle as bright as the stars in the night sky." 
Reiden had a love for stars for a long time now. The first telescope that he had received was when he was 9 and it all started there. Staying up until 3 am just to gaze upon the stars. Reiden can name just about any star and constellation. A horoscope reader as well. The amount of love that he has for astronomy is equal or perhaps a bit more than his love for science. Often heads over to the observatory. }}

{{ Reading fanatic - Another member of the Lakewood Summit Book Club?? Oh, yes. Reiden has been reading ever since he finally caught up to his grade in the 7th grade and he has a personal library in his home that is quite small but it just makes him feel secure and snug. The bookshop in Lakewood is a very nice place to search for new stories to immerse himself in. }}

{{ Volunteer work - He tries to fit it into his schedule as much as he can. }}

{{ Anything sci-fi - Whether it's books or movies, Reiden can't help but enjoy this specific genre. Maybe it was because of the fact that her father had a stack of aged, classic sci-fi novels in his room that he would sneak and read while he was out at work. }}

{{ Cooking/Baking/Confectionary making - And a pretty good one at that. Reiden's loved cooking since he figured out that the stove wasn't a just a dangerous device that smoked up whenever his mother attempted to cook. He most often makes sweets himself, even bothering to bring homemade donuts to the school for the students when he is able to. }}

{{ Alcohol - This can either be a good or bad thing. It all depends on his mood and self-control for the day. Have you ever woken up behind the dumpster in a town that you hadn't been to before? He has. A bad night, that's for sure. However, ever since then Reiden tries his best to limit himself to 3 glasses and maybe only one bottle if he's really stressed. But it's been more than 8 years so he's probably grown into a man that could handle a few drinks. }}

{{ Violin/listening to instrumental music - Another passion! Another childhood obsession. And you've probably noticed by now that he doesn't quit very often at all. Reiden finds that playing the violin and just listening to the splendid string instrument more than calm him down. As well as just listening to exquisite music with no lyrics. }}
