Character: Jesse Grant Alias: Ulysses Speech Color: Standard RPG font Character Alignment: Villain Identity: Known Character Personality: Jesse’s only real concern in life is finding what makes him happy, regardless of the effects that his choices have on other people. It’d be fair to call him selfish, but that titles much too generous. Jesse’s existence is the embodiment of self-indulgence, his only goals in life revolving around doing whatever he thinks is entertaining or worthwhile. With determination as breakable as diamonds and a ferocity that lurks beneath his surface, Jesse is always willing to go far beyond what’s necessary to ensure that he gets what he wants. Jesse’s time in the wilderness proved fruitful, having found a cave with a freshwater spring that tasted of sugar. There he slept, bathing in the spring and drinking from it frequently, bringing his foraged meals to the cave. Time passed slowly and Jesse found little fun to be had, the woodland critters afraid of him and hunters rarely passing through the area, leaving Jesse to his own devices. Jesse soon lost most of what it was to be a social animal, becoming a man of nature with one peculiar thing about him. After nearly twelve years of living alone in the Georgian wilderness, the cuts from sharp branches stopped appearing, his face stopped changing, both hunger and thirst becoming a distant memory. He no longer felt pain and his body was in the best shape it had ever been in. Though there was something peculiar. The spring now tasted of foul, the water beginning to darken. During a night of unneeded rest, Jesse awoke with a jolt, the ground beneath him trembling. Before he could move, a portion of the overhead rock fell onto him, the small cave collapsing and trapping the immortal under tonnes of rock. There Jesse would remain for over a hundred years, his mind his only company until a dog discovered his hand and the authorities were called in to retrieve a body, recovering the naked, but in good health Jesse Grant. Sample Post: “We live, Jack?” Jesse breathed impatiently, a gleam of excitement in his hazel eyes. Jesse bounced in his seat, running a hand through his short mohawk, his fingers pressing tightly against the top of his head. “Gimmie a sec, Jess.” Jack said, his eyes darting from monitor to monitor, quickly syncing up the group of social media sites with the soon to be broadcasted event. “Ten seconds,” Jack said without giving a glance to Jesse, the webcam sitting on a tripod across from Jesse starting up with a glowing green eye. “We really should’ve done something with the place,” Jesse smirked, giving a wave to the rusted out bay of Jack’s van. “And were live..” Jack called, holding up a friendly middle finger to Jesse, who grinned with glee. “Hello world and welcome to the first official cast of my little adventures through Lost Haven. Most of you have probably heard of me, the one and only immortal, Ulysses. And if that’s not enough of a draw your interest then I have a wonderful bit of news! Today we’re going to show what happens when you give a guy who just really doesn’t give a damn a gun and a getaway driver.” Jesse smiles, giving a small wave to Jack. Jack nods and shakes the long raven black bangs from his eyes, pulling up the 12 gauge from the floor of their van and brings the muzzle of the gun into the view of their web show. “Hit me!” Jesse yells, Jack shaking his head and reaching for a pair of soundproofed headphones. “Don’t be a pussy,” Jesse laughs and yanks the shotgun from Jack’s hands, putting the barrel right below his chin. “This is for everyone calling bullshit,” Jesse says with a shit eating grin, firing the rifle at his chin which sends him onto his ass, hitting the back doors of their van. “Alright babes, let’s get this show on the road now, shall we?” Jesse slaps a hand at the door until he feels the handle and yanks it down, the door falling open. “Don’t forget,” Jack called out, throwing a go-pro with a jury rigged antenna to Jesse. Jesse slapped on the camera, it coming to life to continue the feed for his viewers, the number of unique visitors jumping by the hundreds in seconds, nearing thirty thousand in the past minute and a half of broadcasting. The young immortal dressed in his usual attire of a loose leather jacket with a grey sweat jacket and blue jeans, half of his face covered by a skull bandanna and a black backpack hanging over one shoulder, marched toward the fourth largest bank of Lost Haven, openly brandishing his shotgun, with plenty of extra toys hidden beneath his jacket. “So today we’re making a withdrawal,” Jesse says cheekily, “shitte joke, I know.” Jesse, always one for flair, entered the bank by kicking through the glass pane that was the front door immediately firing a shell into the ceiling to make sure anyone who wasn’t aware of his presence knew exactly what was happening. “Greetins,” Jesse called out to a crowd of startled patrons and bankers, “I’m looking for the mana-” Bang! A round from the officer on duty crashed into Jesse’s forehead, causing his head to jolt back, it quickly snapping back into place. “Now my friend, that was rude.” Jesse returned with a bang, the guard hitting the ground with a wet thump, blood quickly spilling from the open wound on both sides of his body. “Anyone else want to take a shot? Maybe you’ll end up luckier than the first guy?” Jesse yelled out through his skull bandanna, the room becoming silent excluding the crying of a young banker who was covering his face and hiding behind his booth. “Super. Since I’m guessin’ ya already hit the silent alarm, I’m gonna make this super quick like.” Jesse approached the counter and held out his backpack. “Give me all of the change rolls you have.” He demanded from the asian banker girl with a pixie haircut and just a tad too much eyeshadow. Unsurprisingly, the woman gave him a confused look. “I didn’t stutter did I?” Jesse asked, rolling his wrists and drawing some attention to the shotgun that was cradled in his arms. Pixie girl complied with a bit more understanding now. No more than two minutes later Jesse was making his leave, his backpack a solid thirty pounds heavier. “Thank you for your cooperation, Jesse said loudly as he walked away, pausing as he approached the door, “I’d be rude for me to not give you a parting gift.” For the first time, Jesse reached into his jacket pulling out several clusters of three pipe bombs tied together. A second search lead to a lighter which was lit with little more than a flick, the pipe-bomb fuses quickly ignited. Jesse flings them over his shoulder, one cluster of bombs going off prematurely, causing the remaining bombs to go off before any of the bank patrons have a chance to make a run for it. “Luck was not on their side today, eh?” Jesse murmured, looking over his shoulder and turning the camera mounted on him to give a clear view of the wreckage. “Ulysses out.” He said tersely, flicking off the camera and beginning the short jog to his getaway van. “We broke two-hundred thousand total viewers before you cut the feed.” Jack reported to Jesse, now sitting in the driver’s seat with a fag hanging from between his lips. “That’s a start.” Jesse sighed, plopping down on the floor of the van as Jack put it into drive and rolled away from the burning bank.
