Grant amused himself while Piper went to use the restroom to freshen up. Grant was the recipiant of glowing smiles from Noras entire staff, which Grant still was not used to yet. Grant found himself exploring the book shelves in the room he was in. Nora had so many books, even a few he had written under pen names. This suprised Grant. Nora probably did not know she even owned any of his books, and while Grant knew he his writing was slightly popular, it still suprised him to see anyone reading what he wrote.

Grant began fingering the top of the books on the shelves, slightly pulling them out to read their spines better. Grants book wonder had him momentarily blinded to his noses warnings, as Piper re entered the room. Her fragrance hit his nose and for a second Grant was very confused. Books do not have this smell........As Grant began to realize that Piper had returned, and before he had a chance to turn around, Nora re entered the room. 

Grant had missed Pipers first words, and only came back to reality when both of his two new female associates began speaking. Grant noticed that Piper had not said anything about her being a hybrid, so Grant decided to keep that part to themselves. Piper can discuss that when ready. Grant cleared his throat to speak.

[color=004b80]"Miss Nora, i departed your lovely manor when you and...male associate began.....conversing amongst yourselves. As I can smell, it appears that our return may have interrupted you two, in which I apologize. But as I was strolling throughout he city I came across this lovely young women who at the time was being chased down by a mob of people. I thought to myself that no one, even Lycans, deserve such treatment. Your manor was much closer than my own home so i took it upon myself to wisk this young women away. I had hoped your generous hospitality would include any of those in need of protection from the fury of unintelligent humans."[/color]

Grant spoke loud and clearly, showing another side of himself. His eyes became sharp, and while he remained friendly and non challenging, he viewed this as a sort of test. If Nora was as kind as she appeared to be Nora would have no problem with this. If she had an nefarious plans she would become transparent here. 

Grant also did not want anything to happen to Piper. She was a mystery to him, and he selfishly wanted to keep her to himself. Not that he thought he had any right to her, its just....her scent.....and now that Grant could see her Piper look beautiful. Grant sighed mentally and said to himself on the inside," This is why i choose to be solitary."
