His skin has a grey depressing colour somewhere between ash and snow. Most fae who lay eyes upon the King of Winter are nearly intimidated into submission. He is of monstrous high when he is standing straight and even though his back is naturally bent he still towers over any fae of humanoid size. To look into his eyes is to look into a snowstorm, a ice blue fire seems to burn in them and it seems like they pierce the soul of anyone they gaze upon. His antlers are of an similiar colour to his skin and just improve upon the intimidation factor and height of his appearance. The same goes for his teeth, each the length of a small knife and more than deadly enough to pierce the skin and flesh of any foe who dares to defy him. Coldhearts claws are black like obsidian and as sharp as a sword, cutting with ease through flesh, bone and wood. His body is thin to the point that his ribs are clearly visible and he has a famished look to him.
Attire:
The Lord of Winter wears unlike most Wendigos who live in the woods actual clothing. More often than not he is clothed in a long, black robe made from feathers, decorated with snow crystals on the rim. On his head, between his antlers he wears the Crown of Winter, a beautiful piece of Unseelie craftsmanship, made entirely out of Ice.
Glamour(s):
A Wendigo like Coldheart is far too large and has a to different bodyform to glamour himself as a humanoid creature. A Wendigo can however blend in with snow, ice, trees and darkness. Coldhearts monstrous body could stand right behind you in the frigid woods and you would only notice the cold breathing down your neck.
Innate & Outward Personality:
One thing drives the Lord of Winter above all. Like with all Wendigos it is Hunger. However in the peculiar case of Coldheart it is more than just a hunger for flesh. It is a hunger for power, knowledge, influence and servants. One could describe Coldheart as driven but that would not quite cut it. He is obsessed, because everything Coldheart sees he desires, he is a Conqueror in his icy heart. He will and cannot rest until he is the lord above any other lord.
Hobbies/Interests:
His one true love as many call it is the hunt, he regularly leads the hunt of the winter court. His other is to satisfy his gluttony. He and his brothers dined upon whole squadrons of men, devouring native tribes, settlers and lumber camps in one bloody and gruesome feast. What sets his interests apart from every other Wendigo however is his hunger for knowledge. Coldheart collects fae artifacts and lore and his library and trophy room are well known and respected among scholars and wiseman throughout all of the four kingdoms.
Skills/Talents:
Coldheart is a masterful hunter and tracker. The reigning King of Winter was also able to transfer all the years of hunting, hiding and stalking in the woods into his strategy on the battlefield. He is a cunning strategist, always one step ahead of his enemies and well known for his use of guerilla tactics. And all his years as king have also taught him one thing. Might does make right. The Wendigo King is a master of Coercion, extortion and threats.
Goals/Motivation:
The Lord of Winter wants to stay in power with all means. But that is only half the story, he desires all that is and all that will be. His deepest desire is to rule over all fae, Seelie and Unseelie alike.
History/Bio:
He did not start as The Lord of Winter. In his live he had many names and titles. His mother and father two Wendigos who only met one night, spending it in a cold but passionate embrace in the dark, frigid woods. They both felt affection for each other, a uncommon thing among Wendigos as their whole nature is that of only caring about their own hunger, but in the end their romance was born and died in that one night. Among the fae it is known that true love is more powerful than almost anything else, being able to break curses and spells. Perhaps these two wendigos felt true love that night? Perhaps this is why the children of the Wendigo woman would change the face of the realm forever?Nobody will ever find the true answer. Coldheart was born the elder of five brothers. When their mother gave birth to them was a cold and dark winter night, a example for what the live of the five wendigos should become. It was after only a few decades that their mother was taken from the five still young and weak fae. When an envoy from the King of Winter traveled through their woods the five children, hungry and eager to prove their hunting prowess stalked him under the leadership of Coldheart. While his mother told him about the king, the courts and how most fae lived more urban, Coldhearts did not recognize the blue skinned envoy and together with his brother attacked him, ripping him to shreds and feasting on his heart and flesh. Little did they know that this was no lost wanderer, but an important fae whose death and cannibalistic devouring would bring wrath upon their woods they and their mother could not even in their wildest dreams hope to stand against. It was also the first time the five brothers tasted the meat of a fae. It was an invigorating taboo. Coldhearts family lost one member just a few days later when the soldiers of the King came to clear the woods. With torches and swords they burned half of what the five brothers considered home and finally cornered and killed their mother thinking that she was responsible. From that moment on the brothers had to survive on their own. "We will not abandon each other. We are strongest with each other. We will hunt together and one day take revenge together. That I swear by my true name, Matchinaw!", Coldheart spoke, giving as the only one of the five brothers a false name. And pacts made with one's true name and one's blood were sacred. It was a contract between the five Wendigos. And it quickly was made clear that Coldheart would lead them. For several centuries after that they roamed the woods, feasting on the humans who got lost through a nearby hole in the hedge that separated their two worlds and crossing over on their own, hunting them in their world. This bliss lasted until Coldheart deemed himself and his brothers strong enough. Coldheart was very different from his brothers, his hunger was for more than flesh and hunt. Through trickery he knew their true names, while they only thought to know his. He was also much, much smarter and more cunning than any of them. He might not be the strongest or fastest of them but he was still their leader and best hunter. His brothers also respected him above all, following him out of loyalty and contract. When he finally was of the opinion they would be strong enough he set his eyes on the palace of winter. At that time the King of Winter was a powerful fae, a spirit of death and decay named Grimm. Contrary to what one would think about such a fae he was not an unpopular ruler, caring for his people and his realm. He was also incredibly old, one of the oldest fae in the realm, equal in age to only the king of spring. But Coldheart did not see a benevolent ruler, he and his siblings saw the man who ordered the death of their mother, not willing to admit that it was their own fault. "We will kill him on his next hunt brothers. We will feast on his flesh. And then I will take his crown." The plan was set. When the King of Winter made it known that he shall hunt and sent for a well known hunter out of the woods the five brother saw their chance. They cornered the hunter the king had sent for on the road to the palace and killed him, devouring all the evidence of their crime. It was then Coldheart lied, telling the King he was the hunter, knowing that the king had never seen the true hunter. The hunt was the king's last as he was lead right into a trap. The king and his guards fought bravely, blinding one of the five on one eye and cutting of the hand of another. But there was nothing more they could do against the surprise attack. With the king and his guards lying dead in the snow the plan was complete. Coldheart took the crown and devoured the king. Winter had a new lord. It was quite the chaos when five Wendigos, one of them wearing the crown of winter walked into the palace and Coldheart declared himself King of Winter. While most of the kingdom accepted their new ruler, following the traditions of Winter and being too afraid to challenge him many did not. The following civil war lasted thirty years and cemented Coldhearts reputation as a masterful strategist. After the thirty years peace was restored. Coldheart ruled from the palace, his four brothers never leaving his side. Many think of him as a tyrant, a unlawful ruler and conqueror but nobody would dare to speak that out loud.
Dynamics:

| Mother |
| Mother | The love of a son |

His mother was for the first time of his live his warden and for the second part the motivation for his revenge. The nightmare of any rebel. Many view him as completely insane and the might be right. He is the most gluttonous and brutal of the five. What fae would be mad enough to do that?
Other:
Archon Nyx

Coldheart sees the ruler of the spring court as a weak diplomat, hiding behind lies and manipulation.

"In the cold winter nights when darkness roams do not enter the woods, stay in your homes when people scream for help, do not go because out in the cold is no man, only the Wendigo" Race:
Wendigo
Common Physical Traits:
The Wendigo was gaunt to the point of emaciation, its desiccated skin pulled tautly over its bones. With its bones pushing out against its skin, its complexion the ash gray of death, and its eyes pushed back deep into their sockets, the Wendigo looked like a gaunt skeleton recently disinterred from the grave. What lips it had were tattered and bloody. Unclean and suffering from suppurations of the flesh, the Wendigo gave off a strange and eerie odor of decay and decomposition, of death and corruption. Its head is similiar to that of a dear, big antlers, sharp teeth, a horrible visage.
Court:
Almost exclusively Winter.
Abilities:
A Wendigo is a spirit of Winter, Greed, Hunger and Cold. Its name means "Evil that devours". Its monstrous body is fast, nimble and full of unnatural strength. A Wendigo is also very difficult to kill, iron and fire are basically the two only options to fight these fae. Many fae love to hunt but none is made to be a hunter like the wendigo. Their senses and bodies are perfected to hunt. A group of twenty soldiers of a King could be sent into a wendigos cold woods at night and not one would survive until dawn. A Wendigo also grows stronger with every victim it has devoured, legends speak of Wendigos whose powers were so immense that their height rivaled that of the highest trees of the forest and their claws could split open the earth.
Limits:
A Wendigo is a being made of gluttony but at the same time always starving. Their strength weakens severely when they haven't eaten anything for a long time and they might even fall into a frenzy of hunger, launching themselves at everything and everyone whose blood they can drink and whose flesh they can devour.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Since their hearts are out of ice hot drinks can kill them and fire is their weakness. A well kept secret is also that Lavender poisons a Wendigo, turning them blind.
Social Standing:
Wendigos are quite rare, even in the court of Winter. They are also quite feared. Many of the more elegant, peaceful and decadent fae see them as no more than monsters. Brutes and savages who don't belong in a court but in the woods and hills. This is true for the most part. Wendigos keep to themselves, having no interest in politics and diplomacy, craving only their next meal and the thrill of the hunt. The only times Wendigo get involved at all in the dealings of the more urban fae is when it is time to hunt. It has happened a few times that a Lord of Winter sent man into the woods to hire a wendigo as a companion for his hunting party. After the hunt is concluded however the Wendigo and the Lord always went their separate ways, for a wendigo does not belong in a palace. There's also a saying to never enter the hunting grounds of a Wendigo alone or without invitation. Even though the laws of the fae forbid it, many wandering and lost fae never came back from those woods and most families and friends are too afraid to go looking for them.
