Name: Pris Chindal Weight: 162 lbs Height: 5'9" Age: Mid-twenties Appearance Physical Data Abilities Standalone Powers Clones: incredibly versatile, this ability allows Pris to create forcefield constructs that mirror his appearance and are controlled by his mental command, effectively summoning an ally to his side for a short period of time. There are many important nuances to this power however, which define the way it is used. First of all, the nature of the forcefield itself must be explained. It is a purely magical construct, with certain physical properties differing from ordinary matter: the reason behind this is a so-called unified energy supply. In normal matter, energy is distributed between discrete molecular and atomic bonds - in the same piece of matter, one group of bonds may break, while the other will stay perfectly fine. However, within a magic forcefield, all particles share the same supply of energy, meaning that no single bond may break or be otherwise strained without every other bond experiencing the same effect; the resulting effect is what one could call perfect dissipation, the clones either imperceptibly 'deflating' under the force of an impact, each and every bond compressing, or instantly disintegrating when the limit of their energy supply is exceeded. This energy limit is roughly equal to 3500 joules, which amounts to slightly more than a powerful cross from a heavyweight or a roundhouse kick. What must be noted is that not only incoming attacks subtract from this total, but so does the reaction force of the clone's own strikes. If one were to damage it just before the clone hit, then the attack's power would be limited by the remaining durability, the clone likely disintegrating before delivering its full payload. And as a second limiting factor, the clones are unstable and have a limited amount of lifetime, due their magic nature, time between activation and expiration being two seconds. The clones originate from a multi-faceted link to the body, mind and aura. A combination of aura and body define most of their physical parameters: their weight, speed, strength and joint flexibility mirror Chindal's; the clones manifest the same clothes and equipment, as his aura seeps into those items over time, allowing to copy them. Clones pass through eachother and through Pris at all times, even stationary mode. Holes for drawing in air. 2 for 3 regeneration rate. !!!CLONES HAVE LIMITED MOVEMENT TIME AND UNLIMITED FORCEFIELD DURATION Tether: integral to his fighting style and thus one of his most practiced powers, the tether is Pris' only magic ability that requires no activation gesture, cooldown or resource cost. Deep ingrained in the mind, its use is perfected to the point that he controls it almost as part of his body, activating, deactivating and changing the spell's properties on the fly. As for the tether itself, it is a physically intangible magic aura, correlating with a single point in space and creating an attraction force between it and Chindal's body. The activation of this spell is instantaneous, as is the deactivation or manipulation of it. When the spell is initially activated, this point appears inside the current location of his center of mass, with the attraction force too, being concentrated towards that spot and acting progressively weaker on other parts of the body the further away they are - this is to ensure that the body will still be able to rotate around it, center of mass acting as a natural pivot point and the tether only strengthening this influence. This grants additional stability, not only securing his body in place, but also counteracting centrifugal forces when performing powerful spinning moves, such as a roundhouse kick, allowing to both put more power into them and perform smoother, swifter transitions from one to another - such as turning the aforementioned roundhouse into a spinning back kick within the blink of the eye. This however, requires proper alignment: the tether point in fixed in space, and while the attraction force brings Chindal's body towards it, he can still move or be moved away. However, some of its properties aren't fixed: namely, the power of the attraction force and its distribution. The power initially starts off at 1 to 1 equivalency to the gravitational force exerted upon Chindal, allowing him to levitate by jumping up and activating the tether; this can be scaled downwards or upwards to x0.5 or x2 the force. As for the distribution, it starts off with the force being predominantly directed towards his center of mass, meaning that he will rotate around it. Changing this so that the force acts with equal power over the entirety of his body grants even more stability, so that, for example, Pris can't be just tipped over and sent spinning head over heels while he's hanging in mid-air. Tether retains most of its original properties, but becomes an intangible clone existing on the magical plane: meaning it always pulls every point in Pris' body towards a corresponding point in itself, and can move same like Pris. Can be used for momentum control or speeding up moves (Pris' own move lags behind and gets pulled, requires precise timing and concentration). Is similar to the clone teleport in regards to momentum control, but not quite. Desync is best idea ever: tether itself has no mass/momentum and can be freely moved, allowing for some crazy shit. Copy, stationary and unlocked modes for the tether's motions. Add supercharge mode where the clone is locked into a position but starts expanding its upper acceleration limit so long as the position is held. Allow to scale the force down completely or no? [s]Sunlord Overdrive Charges 3 charges at start; can regenrate a charge by shutting down clone replenishment, tether, and sunlord activation charges ued on brutal fist, teleport and more clones[/s] [s]dont forget about chest laser flashbang[/s] probably no More clones: (permanent clone capacity increase and an immediate extra clone) Exo clones? (only wearing) [s]Inverted Sun:[/s] [s]Thermal Infusion: (maybe?)[/s] [s]Brutal Fists: like double fire for Miyra, only with electricity and maguc zap; zaps help conduct electricity; electricity helps conduct magic, both momentarily disrupt. Clone fusion: stacks durability, strength and weight, along with a minor duration buff. Sunlord charge or seperate system?[/s] [s]Chest laser as seperate ability (?)[/s] Equipment Brass knuckles [s]with Brutal fist runes[/s] Impact Protection: Sunglasses: pocket sand: Stimpacks: [s]Maybe gadgets for more variety in damage potential? +magnetic rune implanting[/s] [s]+teleport clone to tether +momentum cancelling drive (cooldown, gives resources)[/s] [s]+warmth healing (look at sonny hydraulic?) +reflex enhancement with brutal fist conductive magic[/s] Quebra Ki system [s]combined with sunlord charges[/s] +teleport to clone instead (give clone stationary mode) sonic aura, passively impairs (minor), and increases damage by overlap of sonic waves with impact pressure wave inside the target. drain per post, can be cast from Pris or from a stationary clone, but second option puts Pris himself under risk if stacked. Sonic fireballs - magic forcefield goop that 'splashes' onto opponent, becoming a forcefield containing an oscillatory charge and using its 'movement time' in order to retain a virtual flexibility, moving with whatever surface it's stuck on in order not to bust. [s]explode stationary clone into searing forcefield goop on contact; stationary clone costs resource[/s] !2 clones per turn for BIG PRESSURE, pokes and multitasking
Forcefield Clones: this ability allows Pris to temporarily summon forcefield constructs that are shaped off his own aura: this enables them to mirror multiple aspects of his own body, ranging from size, weight and appearance - down to the clothes he's wearing, so long as his aura has had enough time to permeate them - to strength, speed and range of motion. Effectively, this makes them clones, save for a few qualities inherent to the forcefield and its functions. The forcefield: the defining feature of this material is its ability to instantaneously distribute any incoming force and energy between the entirety of its component bonds and particles, via a special form of teleportation. In other words, unless the whole forcefield itself is destroyed, then no separate part of it will yield or be damaged, the construct capable of absorbing and recovering from any impact that falls under its threshold. By design, the forcefield is also made to be chemically inert and highly reistant to heat and electricity, making raw force or kinetic impact the most effective means of getting through. Raw stats: Joule and newton limit: Heat limit: Clones: rather than straightforward copies, Pris' clones are made from a uniform, hollow forcefield, imprinted from his aura - thus, borrowing shape from his body, clothes and any equipment worn long enough on his person. The same dicates the manner they manifest in: forming a shell that encapsulates his frame, it's surface hovering above by fractions of a millimeter, they either move in sync with Pris himself, or seem to peel away, passing through his body, as parts of them meld through his aura, flickering between pure energy and solid forcefield - the same mechanism letting them pass through eachother as well. Their characterteristic much match Pris's own, as an actual copy's would: movement speed, mass, range of motion, physical strength. Durability, however, is where they differ: being forcefield constructs, they possess 'infinite' hardness and an instant transmission of force between all particle bonds composing them, which in practice means that the clones cannot be deformed by mundane forces, and instead, will simply collapse and dissapate entierly if the upper limit of all of it's combined particle bonds is exceeded, whether it be by impact, thermal energy, or any other means of energy transfer. Moreover, the forcefields are a chemically and electrically inert substance, making them practically impervious to such elements. [refer to raw stats section for max durability] Importantly, the clones only have a limited movement time, in which they can either sync up with Pris' motion, protecting and adding their power to his strikes, or executing mental commands - neurons firing off exactly as if Pris was to perform the action himself, yet transferred to the clone by an additional exertion of will, allowing fluent and nigh effortless control. Once the time limit is up, the clones simply freeze in place, turning into stationary forcefields that remain intact untill destroyed.
