Amelia smiled and followed Riley. It would be a good distraction to make new friends. Things were difficult trying to get over the relationship with Jack was difficult and even more so when she was back to being just friends. She walked over and stood next to Riley. "Hi there, I'm Amelia. What's your name?" She asked giving the girl a smile. She looked at the girl and couldn't help but notice how nervous the girl looked. It must be nerve wracking being the new kid when everyone else had already formed their own groups. She was lucky never to have experienced that, she had always had Riley. She wanted to make new students feel welcome though as it couldn't be nice to be the new girl. Amelia took a look around checking out the new students and the groups of first year students who were nervously forming around the place. She remembered that all too well. She had been terrified to start school but she had been lucky. She had quickly formed a nice group of friends.


As much as her and Jack were broken up she couldn't help but find herself hoping that a new girl wouldn't get together with him. She would find that really hard to deal with. Amelia couldn't help but keep looking over at Jack. It was clear that he had gotten over her whereas she wasn't even close. She loved him, something which she was finding hard to deal with
