If the reason's solely that there is another one now I don't think that's a reason to not make the character you want. After all it's mostly your writing/what your character actually says that will appeal to characters/NPC's. There may be people that are more influenced by your character than by the others just because they don't like something about our other "speech" character for some reason. They might also just respect yours more or find him more convincing at the time. It doesn't really matter how high your charisma is, if you were to write some unconvincing shizz I doubt it'd matter, which is why I always tend to keep that stat low in these games. I don't want to write something others think is unconvincing and then be like "but his speech is 60!". Haha.
