She is a slender, small-breasted girl with an average height. Her midnight black hair is of a medium length but always kept tied up in a complicated bun and always considered messy with strands of wild hair freely flowing about her face with the slightest of breezes. Her body is a bit pale but unmarked by tattoos or scars. Her ears are always extravagantly pierced with multiple pierces placed about each ear. Her clothing is tight fitting enough to show off her gentle curves but not constricting and still leaves the faint impression of her previous wealth.

Heather Moody was born and bred in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With her southern roots and natural talent for music, she pursued a career as a musician early. Nicky Moody became Heather's touring name as she performed her folk-style music all across the world. She originally got her start in the Wailin' Pennys, a group of three girls who also performed in a folk-style genre, and again, the Wailin' Pennys had also been pretty popular back in the day. But despite their popularity, they were by no means mainstream and the Pennys, as well as Nicky herself, had always thrived in a smaller cult following instead. 

Post-zombie invasion, Nicky survived alongside her father and boyfriend for awhile before they eventually met an untimely demise. Thankfully, they had been very instructive in survival and Nicky had managed to inherit a lot of their gear to manage and just in time for the Dead of Winter...
