My advice to you would be to read up on all the rules and make sure you know all the information about Role Playing before applying to a story. This is so everything will run smoothly and you will not end up frustrated, upset with a GM or another player. 

It is also a good idea to start where you are comfortable and can positively contribute to the story. This could be in the free RP area, the casual area, or the advanced area. (Start with Free RP, if that is not what you like, pick casual then work your way up from there.)

Please keep in mind, this is a Casual/Advanced RP, which means this is mostly casual but will have advanced elements and the such tossed into it.
