"I apologize miss Aki, but I've never heard of these Aragami of which you speak. This, however, is one of the many Hive subspecies, a Thrall. They like to swarm you and slash you to ribbons, or try to anyways, with their claws. They aren't the toughest of enemies when you're facing down the Hive, but they are some of the highest in number." James frowns, beginning to realize the implications. "The Hive are Minions of the Darkness, the Traveler's oldest enemy. If you all aren't familiar with them...Have any of you heard of the Traveler before? Or the Collapse? Ever seen the Fallen?" If not, then they most definitely weren't on Earth, which would explain why they couldn't establish contact with the Vanguard or their jump ship. Which begged the question, if they weren't on Earth, or even the Sol System anymore, where exactly were they?
