Yeah, we're gonna be really close [s]mortal enemies that constantly scream about eradicating each other[/s] friends. The Terran Union is already venturing pretty far out, just not in the right directions and not caring about forming a nice looking blob on the map. That'll probably change when they realize that they're meeting way too many different species and need to form a more easily defensible nation, though.
