Dragon eggs -
Dragon eggs start off similar in appearance to Terran rocks like tiger eye or tiger iron. Once awakened by magic they will rapidly change in appearance, they will only hatch when they are ready and it is up to each individual inhabitant of each egg as to when each one hatches. 

Egg color will generally match the dragon scale colour.

Baby dragons imprint on whosoever they see first.
