[@Terminal] Someone who is merely a pawn for others is not necessarily fun to play. Someone who wants to be a player but doesn't have the ability might be interesting. Unfortunately, the vast majority of my characters are sensible, magic users, or both -- and they'd have to fit a modern setting to be recent arrivals. I have one that might fit, but I can guarantee you she'd come to an unpleasant end very quickly, given that character death is encouraged instead of avoided. And while I try to be okay with character death if there's a good reason and it makes sense, the truth is I'm very attached to my chars and really dislike removing them permanently from an rp in many situations. ...Actually, that's something I should consider. Outside of the ones where I know they take stupid risks, am I okay letting chars take acceptable risks for their goals and then going with the possibility of losing them. I honestly don't know. [@Prince of Seraphs] I'll have to think on this. I spotted that note just a few minutes ago, and it didn't really sink in until now.
